We stopped after going by the Pickers place before heading onto Branson. We are from Near Green Bay WI. We had so much fun, we had to come back the same way so we could party there again. Would go back there again and will for the Tugfest next year. The only drawback is that no one outside of WI knows how to make an Old Fashion. Chubs and Mary
Fun little place. And I do mean little. Limited indoor seating, but I guess that adds to the âatmosphereâ. It got quite busy around 1:30 (on a Sunday). I had the pastrami on wheat, which was tasty, but a somewhat smaller sandwich (following the âlittleâ theme, perhaps?) Others had Cobb salads, which they declared delicious and satisfying. Price was moderate. Weâd go back.

Great dining option on the Mississippi River with a great view. Very creative appetizers and burgers. Nice selection of craft beers puts them a step ahead of many others. Give Tuggers a try, You will not be disappointed .

Stopped here on our way out West. My husband had the Reuben and said it was very good with enough of the dressing. I had the Monte Cristo. It was good, but would have been perfect with some raspberry preserves. French fries were generously portioned. The menu is a good selection. The servers are efficient and donât hover. The service was fairly fast.Iâd stop here again if weâre in the area.

The sandwiches were very tasty with a nice selection. I was really surprised how good the soup was. About 5 different selections for soup. We had the waffle fries which were very tender. They also have dessert. Will stop back again when in area.

Stopped for lunch after visiting Antique Archaeology, had nachos and split with my wife. It was delicious and there was more than the two of us could eat. The staff (Tyler and Taylor) were friendly and helpful for our first ever visit to a Happy Joes. I'd certainly eat here again if I were in the area.

The Faithful Pilot is located in the scenic downtown LeClaire, Iowa. Owner & Executive Robert Day changes his menus seasonally and uses local farmers, growers, and individual buyers so keep pricing at their best and ingredients the best they can be. Chef
On Wednesday evenings you can get a half price bottle of wine and enjoy local music. This menu is constantly changing with wonderful items for full dinner and small plates. In keeping with their bakery heritage, there is a different bread offered each evening, baked on site. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally. The wine list is extensive with some rare finds and the cocktails are also locally sourced from a excellent distillery down the street. This restaurant offers the best meal in the area for high cuisine.

Steventonâs sits atop a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River at I-80 and the Iowa border. We offer an extensive menu of exquisitely prepared American Classics, served in a modern yet elegant atmosphere thatâs hard to find in an era of cookie cutter din
Went here with family after receiving recommendations. Lovely setting inside and out. Large outside patio with music in the evenings. Nicely lit up and providing great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Very small wine listing though, they seemed to specialize more in cocktails. Very traditional menu offerings with the emphasis on prime steak. Nothing creative or different. Two of us started with a Cesar Salad that was very good. Other family member had Oysters Rockefeller and pronounced them excellent. I had the Sirloin and it very tender and delicious, and most importantly cooked to the right temperature. My Son ordered the Strip, medium, and it was served rare. They apologized and quickly prepared the steak to the right temperature and offered free deserts. This is not an inexpensive place to dine. Prime beef commands top price. However, I do think they are somewhat overpriced. Nice place to dine for a special occasion.

Classy comfort food served in an 1851 River boat Captain's home.
Such a nice place. A historical property with beautiful antique fixtures. Menu is creative. The food was very fresh and well prepared. Our server was friendly and efficient. We sat at corner table with views of the river. I would highly recommend this place.

How awesome to eat a tenderloin while gazing at the mississippi river and watching the shipping float by? Well ... you can do it at Big Dave and Holly's! They have wonderful Iowa Tenderloins grilled or breaded with yummy shakes and binoculars to get a better view as the barges push their way up and down the river. Worth the trip!
