Being the first establishment at the bottom of the road down from Lourdata town and Vlachata, the Seven Café Bar is upstairs above the Lourdas Mare bar. Being high above the beach itself affords the Seven Café excellent views across the bay and more importantly on a hot summer day, a lovely sea breeze. Sitting on the terrace and having a frappe is one of lifeâs little pleasures â especially when on some days the Café provides a bottle of water and a slice of cake when you buy a coffee! The frappe made with ice cream is particularly nice, with the sweetness of the ice cream and the bitterness of the coffee foam complimenting each other perfectly and providing welcome relief from the heat. The staff are very pleasant, going about their business with a smile and there is a small book exchange area inside where you can drop off the book youâve just read and pick up another one to flick through on the terrace. Being near the bus stop to get you back up the hill is just another plus point for this lovely little café.

From the day we met with Kostas and Annie last year all our wedding stress disappeared. We had a limited budget but they made sure will had a billion dollar wedding, it was priceless. They took care of all the complex paper work, with very clear timely instructions for our actions. Emails were responded to quickly and nothing was too much trouble. they kept us updated with costs (which were so reasonable). When we finally flew out with 22 guests we met with them 2 days before the wedding for final catch up, they were so kind and reassuring. Last minute questions and additions were included with no fuss (or charge)! they arranged transport from resort to our beautiful wedding beach, they arranged Maria the best photographer ( we were presented with a beautiful album before we flew home 3 days later). The celebrant was wonderful, our readings, vows and speeches all factored in. Annie totally understood my concept and added in perfect ideas of her own, my flowers surpassed my expectations (again incredible value), my cake was simplicity and delicious. The wedding breakfast was relaxed and scummy something for everyone and the local wine flowed. Canapes and prosecco followed the ceremony - we were in paradise! I cannot recommend them enough, all our dreams were surpassed. Eternally grateful! not one thing i can suggest to improve it was perfection.

Located on the Trapezaki Road! Specials change daily. Fast service and tasty grill souvlaki ,gyros and fresh salads .
We have eaten several times here. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is really great Quality. The lamb chops, steak and the souvlaki are exceptional and really huge portions. The seafood souvlaki is my particular favourite.Last night I ordered moussaka, which I had enjoyed on a previous visit. This time though, it was seriously over cooked and I couldnât eat it.The waitress was excellent when I showed her and ordered something else. When it was time to pay, we realised we hadnât been charged for either the moussaka, or its replacement, which was a very nice gesture.Everyone can make a mistake, but they handled it very well and weâll eat there for sure on our next trip.

Greek restaurant at Lassi, near Argostoli. Authentic Greek cuisine and original Greek nights with dances and plate smashing. Warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal for large groups and families. Open from early in the morning for breakfast till late at night
10 years ago for the first time my family holidayed in Greece (Lassi) and the very first Greek restaurant we ate in was Zorbaâs and we were blown away by Zorbaâs and Greece and have never looked back . Since then we have visited many different Greek islands and resorts much to our pleasure. So this year we thought weâd re visit Lassi 10 years on and where else to start the holiday meals but in Zorbaâs where it all began. I have to admit I like to check out on trip advisor which restaurants are favourites so I can try the good ones out and I was dismayed to see how far Zorbaâs had slipped down the list, but after our flight and unpacking we really just wanted a restaurant close by with little fuss. The place was quiet but that was fine by us we ordered meat balls and stuffed pepper for starters both were absolutely delicious and as we wasnât too hungry we shared a pizza for a main which again was extremely tasty tag on a lovely bottle of wine and the meal was a success , if I remember right it only came to about 33 euros which is very good value. I thought we would only eat there once but we went back two more times both times we were very happy. So Iâm not sure why itâs so low on the list , itâs very busy on the entertainment nights and the opposite when there isnât but to be honest being dragged up to dance isnât my cup of tea so we liked the quiet nights , all I can think of to criticise is there isnât a lot of charisma or chat with the staff , the job gets done efficiently but maybe a bit of friendly banter wouldnât go amiss. So please donât dismiss dear old Zorbaâs give it a chance.

Well known or yet to be discovered varieties, Greek and international tastes, all parading in your glass, at the new wine destination of the town of Argostoli. OÎ¹Î½Î¿Ï Wine Bar proposes for you a unique wine trip with the promise to give you moments of tact
Hidden in a corner, very friendly staff and they know what they are doing. We ordered cuttlefish risotto and mushroom risotto. They were tasty but for my taste a bit salty. Our friend ordered mushroom risotto and lamb shank and they loved it. They had an amazing mix salad. They can suggest you wine. In general you shouldnât miss this place. P.S if only were not serving drinks with plastic straws.

We travelled as a couple and spent 3 weeks at the hotel where the Elia restaurant is located. So having spent 21 nights half board sampling the food we certainly needed up as connoisseurs concerning the food. The sheer variety of food is spectacular and we really enjoyed the different soups, the amazing array of salads and the beautiful hot buffet which varied every night..lasagnes, moussaka, stifado, fish, loads of vegetarian dishes, and plenty of vegetables.Looking out on the sunsets, being served by very friendly Greek staff who became our friends over the 3 weeks was just brilliant! We even met the head chef Zouros, who is a wizard in the kitchen but special mentions to Demetrius, Spiros, Akis, Chris and Alex who all worked exceptionally hard to ensure we enjoyed the food in the restaurant and who cleared plates very timely. There is an extensive menu of starters, mains and desserts, and an extensive drink and wine list too.We highly recommend the Elia restaurant and their fantastic staff. Eat there and you wonât be disappointed! Fantastic restaurant.
We had lunch here a couple of times. Food is good for a beach bar and the setting is very nice and shady. Offers a bit of chill time away from the beach while only being about 50m from the beach.

We visited En Kefallinia on our last night and wished we had found it sooner! A beautiful setting surrounded by flowers and herbs and you could even see the chef picking items from the garden as they were ordered - you can't get fresher than that! 3 of us had the special of homemade pasta with pork which was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake made with homemade marmalade was one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. All the food was fresh and light, and was followed up beautifully by a small taster of the liquor made by the owner. The owner was kind enough to tell us about how they had built the restaurant originally as their family home after the earthquake in 1953. She also showed us a wonderful book all about the island. If we return to Kefalonia we will definitely return. Absolutely recommend trying it out to anyone staying near Lakithra.
