Came here twice the food is lovely very fresh and the service was great. I would highly recommend the lovely cheesecake with ice cream with the mains being mixed grill and the chicken Souvlaki.Sadly on the second visit with family we was the first customers in and I asked for bread it was clearly bread from the day before, I felt so angry because first impressions mean so much and really wanted to the meal to be perfect especially when bringing family members to this place. It was so dry and felt really embarrassed. Is it really worth losing customers and making them unhappy over some stale bread from the day before?The only other few points I would like to make is the menu is rather basic so giving it a constant refresh would be good and dealing with all the insects especially the ants crawling everywhere, flies and mosquitos I know it's hard but at least try with ant powder and misquito repellant.Sorry your second visit wasn't top notch. We will strive to give you a better experience next time. Thank you for your input.

Visited this restaurant based on the positive reviews. Managed to get a table though many were already reserved.Had the bruscetta which was the nicest I've had in a long time and a steak which was lovely and tender. Hubby had lamb chops which were a little bit over cooked. We would have had desert but we weren't offered the menu so maybe there isn't one so left and had coffee elsewhere. Would have gone again but when we walked by a few days later it was closed up for the winter. Will go back if we visit Agios Stefanos again. Good value and good choice of food

We had lunch at Mariaâs 4 times in the last 2 weeks. We are vegetarian and the vegetarian burger and vegetarian wrap are delicious. The location is just opposite the beach and the view is beautiful. We have been coming here for the last 9 years and we have never had a bad meal
