Iola (pronounced /aɪˈoʊlə/) is a city situated along the Neosho River in the northwestern part of Allen County, located in Southeast Kansas, in the Central United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 5,704. Iola is the county seat of Allen County. It is named in honor of Iola Colborn.

My half rack of ribs was very good tender, tasty and a generous serving. Wife's brisket was also very good. Service was acceptable but could have been a little faster. Salad bar was well stocked with a good variety of fresh foods.

This is the best (and only) coffee spot in Iola. I have never been overly impressed with the town but this little place is fantastic. My wife and I do not live in Iola and passed through here a few months ago. When we came back through the owner remembered us and that I always ordered with soy! The last time we were there I left my wallet. They contacted us via Facebook and held it until we got back. Great service and excellent coffee!!!
Iola needs more businesses like this one.

Stopped here during a bike ride from Humboldt to Iola and back. Great stop for lunch. The sandwiches could be the best I've had anywhere and I do mean anywhere. So much meat and all the trimmings you could want. I had the original and my wife had the Turkey reuben. The quality of the meats and breads were top notch. This is a special place. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE.

If you are looking for delicious, authentic Mexican Cuisine served in a quaint setting with excellent service, I would recommend El Charro's to everyone! Located just off the Town Square in historic Iola, KS, it is easy to find! GREAT FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE :)

This is a nice little A&W restaurant. The employee's were young but all seemed to have a good attitude and also had great customer service. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Food was pretty darn good!

Stopped in and had a couple beers and a plate of wings. service was good. Wings were fine. Nothing really special but good. Seems like an average sports bar type place. Will probably go back and try their stromboli and lasagna which is supposed to be homemade.

After it being weeks before the weather cooled down and nothing to do today, we decided to ride our motorcycles over to Iola for lunch. We were happier this time eating at El Jimador. Service was better. Food was still good as always.

Fresh ground beef, hand patties, 1/2 pound burgers that are juicy and delicious. It's like hamburgers my mom used to make. Their special is a Club Burger and some great little appetizers too like the fried cheesy bacon broccoli bites called "mufflers" served with ranch dressing on the side. Can't go wrong with this place! Tell Kyle King the "Sampler" ladies sent you!

We ordered their Egg McMuffin Breakfast combo. The first issue I had with the person taking the order, was they did not correctly take my order. I had to repeat my order several times. When the order was delivered to us, it was not correct. This is not the first time this has happened to us. As far as fast food establishments go, the food is fair, the value for the dollar is fair, the service is poor.
