The Redgarth has a well stocked bar with real ales available on tap, we had dinner and drinks there the othere evening and all really enjoyed the experience. There were 4 adults in our group but there were also a good mix of older couples and couples with young families dining there in the early evening. We could hear the rousing tones of Happy birthday coming from the dinning room so definitely a busy place on a Friday evening. The staff were all very welcoming and freindly, the waiting staff were all working very efficiently. The food was well presented and obviously
cooked freshly as it was piping hot when it came out to us. Would definitely visit again to eat and have also given some thought to having a B&B stay in the hotel.

Also open Sunday Lunch.
Have visited Ardennan on quite a few occasions and the quality is always quite consistent. The fillet steaks are very nice but I am not a big fan of the brown chunky chips and think its time that these were changed for a decent chip, but everything else in nice with a good menu choice. Some of the seats will give you bum ache and these need to be changed or ask for a cushion. But overall a nice restaurant with nice food and nice staff. Give it a try!!

Excellent fish and chips in a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The fish was the freshest we've tasted for ages - straight out of the sea ! Plenty of other choices on the menu too. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

We have been a few times with my parents. We decided to go ourselves a few weeks ago with my husband and our 6 week old baby. The restaurant has a nice laid back atmosphere and the couple who run the restaurant are lovely. We went back last night and it was up to the same standards was busier last night and we wasn't disappointed food is the best I've ever tasted. We love our Indian food and we both decided that's the best restaurant and food.
