This is a great little restaurant with a friendly, traditional atmosphere. The à la carte menu is very small but didn't feel limited and the tasting menu looked excellent but we decided to try it another time. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, definitely worth it's Michelin star and perhaps a bit more. The wine list is enormous but there is something for every taste and budget and there is good, sensible advice on hand if required. The only thing that let it down were the toilets, situated upstairs in the Hotel Alpenblick to which the restaurant belongs, which needed both renovation and cleaning.

Went up there based on the reviews I have read however I was disappointed. The views up there were breathtaking but the food wasn't so good. Got the cheese fondue and that was ok. Definitely have tried better ones. The garlic cream soup and Barry ice cream were good. Service could be better and more friendly.

We came here expecting a good meal and great service considering the restaurant's ratings here on TripAdvisor but it was just horrible. Our server was rude and short with us, as well as more invested in other patrons of the restaurant. Our drinks came ridiculously late (right after the food arrived) even though we had ordered them 15 minutes earlier, and the burger was disgusting. It was hard and chewy, and didn't taste like beef at all. You're better off going to the McDonald's across the street if you're craving a burger, it was much much better than this! Only highlights were the Hausapero drink and the wedge fries. Other than that, save your money, time and tastebuds and don't come here.

Hearty meal, well presented especially the salads. Great service from more than one team member, most obliging. Would recommend a visit, large outdoor heated eating area, inside is nice too

Our party really enjoyed our dinner here. We sat at an outdoor table overlooking an old square on a pleasant evening.The menu has typical Swiss German dishes, but they are prepared with a flair or refinement, call it what you will, but definitely a cut well above the average. Service was very good.The beer and wine selection is also good.We would certainly eat here again when in Interlaken.Dear Stephen, Thanks a lot for your nice words and great review. So glad we stopped here for dinner while in Unterseen. We stayed close by in Interlaken and walked. Excellent fondue. Also very good Rosti dishes (hash browns topped with other ingredients) Staff were welcoming and helpful. Beautiful area. Highly recommend having dinner here.

We found that Interlaken was much more of a tourist trap than we imagined. So we looked forma restaurant in nearby Wilderswil. Restaurant Heimat was well reviewed on TA and this turned out to be correct. Charming restaurant run by an amazing woman (rumour was she was 88!). The food and the service were great, the bar and the restaurant are adjacent and it was nice to see lots of locals in. Nice ambiance too, felt like the Switzerland of years ago.

We were with a large group, but the service was prompt and the servers were very pleasant. We had a person with special dietary requests and the staff worked to accommodate her needs without any hesitation. The food is good with nice variety. Is on a side street and could be easily overlooked, so look for an anchor sign hanging outside. Inside decor is eclectic and a little different, but you are not there for art. Can recommend this place for a good meal that comes with good service.

We stayed in a his hotel and a had a fantastic meal in the intimate dining room next to bar. Menu now presented differently to photos here but content same, and seems to have changed name. As noted by others butter with bread ya excellent. Local pickled fish starter was fresh and tasty. Steak and fish mains had us full and happy with no space for desert. Highly recommended.
