We pulled in here on a whim. Not the cheapest place but clean, the beds are comfy, the pool is inviting and the staff are just lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant and were so pleased we did. Huge portions, perfectly cooked. The vegetables were absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favour.

All of our units continue to enjoy a mini upgrade or a refresh. This may includes new Doona Covers, Bedside lamps, Artwork, curtains and anything else we as a team feel that a particular unit may need refreshing and guests that are now return customers who may have been in that unit recently will know that our units are constantly being upgraded for their comfort and not left for years when a big upgrade is inevitable as all of their units are now very dated and guests are leaving their accommodation to search out units such as our own that are fresh, clean, modern and are scrutinized on a very regular basis. So far in 2018 our units have all been refreshed with each unit fitted with new curtains, very high quality doona covers, artwork, bedside lamps and sometimes bedside tables. Yes we are small with only 10 units to proudly offer but they are all very original and each one has much to offer for your comfort and freshness after a relaxing night to resume your journey.
I don’t expect a lot from a motel. Easy parking and access, a comfortable bed, a clean and tidy room, and a good shower. The Black Marlin ticks all the boxes for me. It is a perfectly ordinary place but I am not looking for something special.

The Best Budget/Mid-Range hotel in Innisfail. The service upon sign-in feels on par to that of an expensive romantic restaurant. You'll find this cleanly motel is cozily tucked away in Central Innisfail within walking distance of a supermarket, plenty of restaurants and a few bars. The manager and/or his daughter provide very good service upon sign-in and personally chauffeur you to your room while and explain how to access all of the amenities the motel has to offer such as free wifi with decent if not a strong connection with decent speeds along all rooms. This wifi connection makes up for the lack of a dvd or bluray player if you bring a laptop and a hdmi cable to plug into the provided flat screen tv. The network speed will easily allow you to use any video streaming service such as Youtube or Netflix at 1080p with no hitches to entertain your kids or spend some quality time with your loved one without expanding an overkill amount of data.

Rating this 3 star motel with 3 star expectations and no more. As a 3 star motel, the accommodation met our expectations. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful. Our family room was large, spacious and had a well appointed kitchen. However, I would like to mention that there was hair on the bedsheet under my pillow. The motel looks a little dated. The garden, driveway and carpark needed some weeding. If you overlook these things, and just need a bed to tie you over until the morning so you can be on your way to your destination, then this motel will meet your needs.

Great healthy pub meal option! What a surprise this little town presented. The Queen’s Hotel old country charm, friendly staff and yum food. Tidy, busy city centre even though not tourism season. Although missing our XXXX Gold.

Flying Fish Point is a quiet beach side community located where the Coral Sea meets the Johnstone River. Situated across the road from the beach and just 7kms of the "art deco" town of Innisfail. Flying Fish Point Tourist Park is the ideal place to be based while you explore this fabulous tropical region. Camping sites are available from $28/nite and cabins from $50.
Disgusting!! Old, dirty, smells. We booked cabin only for 1 night but we didn't last more than 30 minutes. This place needs upgrade right away. "fake grass" in front of the cabin smelled so bad it made me sick. Cabin smelled even worse. Egg shells and other rubbish under the cabin, hair and dirt in the fridge. Dirt from the fan on the table. Bed sheets dirty. We ran away before we even took some photos to get refund. We have never seen worse caravan park or cabin. You can get nice en-suite room in Innisfail for the same money.
Alberts Accommodation is Innisfail's newest Shared accommodation facility and welcomes backpackers , workers ,short and long term stays. Alberts also has the famous Italian woodfired pizza restaurant onsite.
