A very interesting place, 2 km from main road Triest - Rijeka, just near border crossing. A restorant, actualy it is not a restorant, it is a tavern, agrituristic place where you can eat a lot of meal that is made from typically ingredients that grow there. The family owned a lots of ground so they coltivate vegetables by them self. They have chicken and other meet they buy in neighborhood. After have a food you can go to take a walk on the hill from where you can enjoy in a fantastic view. You can even see the sea.

We stopped on Sunday evening to eat pizza .I was really surprised because I got an excellent pizza called SonÄek (Little sun).It is also not expensive ,only time to wait was perhaps to long but it was worthy. There is a big parking and if you travel from Ljubljana to Rijeka or in opposite direction you can stop there for good food at very reasonable prices.

A farm on a hill upon the street between Pivka and Ilirska Bistrica ,near village Prem,where was born one of the best slovene poets,is an excellent point to stop and relax if you travel from Trst(Trieste) or from Ljubljana to Rijeka in Croatia. They have rooms and a nice restaurant . We visited them to celebrate our son`s new job. They served us excellent food and very good Refosco and everything was perfect. They cook good slovene food which is a nice mixture of influences from Mediterranian,Austria and Hungary .

Agriturismo a conduzione familiare i gestori sono molto ospitali parlano inglese e qualche parola di italiano, la struttura è nuova, le camere sono pulite con TV via sat. E bagno con doccia. La colazione, molto abbondante, non è compresa nel prezzo della camera e per chi volesse mangiare non c'è problema la cucina è buona e i piatti sono abbondanti, il prezzo è contenuto.

A very pleasant stop in this restaurant where you can have a very good lunch at the right price: meat and pasta are delicious, the waiters are very kind and the service is accurate and quick. Don't miss it!

Gostisce Masun is in a beautiful location, which you can access from the west with an asphalt road and from the East with an enjoyable gravel road in the forest. They serve fresh products, including game (and even bear!). We loved the prosciutto and the venison with morels, for a very reasonable price considering the quality. We would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone.

Our restaurant is located in the Command building in the Park of Military History Pivka. We serve local dishes with a touch of old military food. In the permanent offer we have excellent military pasulj (bean soup), which will remind you of "good old time

We went there after Military museum tour. Originally we were rather sceptical, as restaurants adjacent to tourist attractions are IMHO rather weak and overpriced. But we gave a try. We enjoyed interior army design which included AA gun. Great, fast service, really nice staff. BTW. They immediately brought water for our dog without any request. We ordered local pljeskavica-hamburger in local bun, which was really delicious. Great food, reasonably priced. We would definitely return.
