After traveling all day we decided to find a place to eat, and really lucked out with this place! The restaurant is in an old buliding that has been decorated in a nice complimentary way. The food was awesome. We had green fried tomatoes, steak bites and for dinner we had macaroni and cheese and shrimp and grits! The flourless cake was a nice sweet suprise. The wine list is impressive, and enjoyed a vintage malbec

Only wood burning pizza restaurant in Citrus County.
After recommendations to go there, we finally did and will definitely return when in the area. The 16" pizza was delish as well as the salad. There was enough for 2 meals. The staff was awesome. The server convinced us to try the homemade cannoli and glad we did. Look forward to next visit!

Shrimp Landing Restaurant serves Breakfast Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week from 5 am to 9 pm specializing in seafood; however,we also offer an all american menu. Situated next door to Hickory Island Hotel and lounge.
They have different all you can eat specials on different nights. The fried fish was decent but the fried shrimp was really good. Don't really care for the type of French fries they have cole slaw is the sweet kind and is very good but is a tiny portion. I think there is something for every appetite on the menu. Good food and good prices. Clean and friendly fast service. Best iced tea. I definitely recommend.

We had lunch here-loved it, so we went back for dinner-it was wonderful! Maria, our server did a great job-even as busy as she was, our salads were served right away-and they are really nice-fresh with some fun added ingredients. We both ordered the Bourbon glazed grouper-although there really wasn't a "glaze" the fish was excellently prepared-grilled over cheese grits, Yum! And the carrots on the side were also cooked perfectly-I felt like it was one of the healthiest meals I have had in awhile-We Will Go Back!

We had the worst waitress ......... Us: "How's the grouper sandwich ?" Her: "Dunno don't eat seafood, I'm allergic" Me: "How many clams (average) with the steamed clams" Her: "Dunno don't eat seafood, I'm allergic" Really!!! We had to get our own silverware, never offered another drink, or to check on us.............Plus the wait! (About an hour)
Riverside Inn - Please educate your wait staff or hire a manager, you have such a beautiful place!

Had a late lunch and choose the "fish fry". It does NOT come with free dessert as I read in another review. The "fish fry" is not listed under dinners so does not come with free dessert. The fish was haddock and came with fries and slaw for 8.99. I replaced the fries and slaw for a small salad and a baked potato for a $1 up charge. There were four pieces of fish and they were fried perfectly. The salad and potato were just ok. There was no hush puppies but there were crackers served with the salad. I hear the breakfast is good and the burgers also and so will probably stick to trying those on my next visit.

My husband and I had a quick little breakfast here one morning. It's located in the cutest part of town. The coffee was very good! Only place to have actual coffee that we could find. The breakfast wrap was a little underwhelming, but still hit the spot. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon was delicious!

No question without a doubt the best, no one else comes close. Fresh tasty food, excellent ice cold draft beer. Reasonably priced.
Best of all is the hosts/owners are great and make you feel like family. Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights though and closed during the summer.
