The setting is fantastic. By the river in the middle of the forest near Ubud, the colors, sounds and decoration are superb. But beware, down there no breeze is to be expected to help you endure the heat and humidity.As said in the title, the place is understaffed, at least at sundown. The drinks, when they come, are perfectly served, and the pizza was actually quite good. It is inside a resort and probably doesn´t merit an outsider visit, but for hotel guests it is a must. No happy hour here though and prices are steep.

Came here after TripAdvisor reviews and ratings are rightly justified. Ambience was really nice and chilled out. Menu was very elaborate ranging from local Indonesian food to the Western continental food to Indian curries. We tried their chicken curry which was really tasty and full of flavours. pricing seems to be on a slightly higher side as compared to other restaurants in Ubud, but I would say it still worth it. I would recommend this place for dinner

We have eaten in many restaurants around the world with Michelin stars including 6 which have/had at the time 3 stars and Aperitif was definitely up there as a dining experience. The degustation menu offers diners the chance to enjoy several flavours from the kitchen and each course is presented brilliantly. The ambience and decor of the restaurant and the wonderful bar add to the appeal.

Travelling alone always puts me in some interesting experience anywhere. Resting from my walks around ubud, a young man greets me and offer me a fresh juice. Interested with the items they have, I have a seat and enjoy the evening at their garden. The servers continually greets me, so after a while we have a very nice conversation about Balinese offerings and naming systems. Who knew a glass of juice can expand your knowledge about the culture here in Bali. I definitely will come back to have dinner here, with this kind of service I'm sure I will enjoy the dishes they serve.

At first we were a little apprehensive as the entrance to the restaurant winds you through a building site thatâs not attractive. ( this of course is only temporary)However,once you pass the building mess you are greeted with a well lighted path through a rice field to the restaurant. You are greeted with a warm Balinese welcome a shown to your semi outdoor seating. Try and book the table overlooking the fields. The menu Has variety of excellent choices. You can pick the chefs affair or select from an array of tasty tapas ( large) dishes. The food is presented with perfection and taste. This is a must try.

Disappointed by the decline in food quality. They used to serve tasty delicately spiced food but now the food is now over seasoned . This was such a nice little restaurant. We got picked up (free shuttle) from our hotel, the Wyndham. The staff was super friendly, food was very good! Must try the Sop Ayam! And all for a very good price.
