We stayed at the Hilton which is connected to McCormick & Schmick's It was raining and we really didn't want to go out on the street. Excellent choice just to eat here. Would dine again.

This is another in the endless line of Indy prime steakhouses. Itâs a very nice bar. The food was expensive but good. Service is good, minus one crazy slow server at the bar. She seemed lost. Valet is helpful. The only issue is the smell. Itâs hits you as you walk in the door. Itâs always there. Iâve been 4 times and each time the stench hits you in the face like a sledgehammer. Certainly the folks that operate this place smell it too?

My son wanted to take us someplace special so he decided on Rick's. We were there about 5pm on a Saturday night and they were already crowded. We needed a table for 6 and luckily were seated quickly with understanding that they needed the table by 7:00pm. They had 500 reservations that night. Our son said all the food was very good and suggested crab cakes as well as the devour which is a 3 course dinner for $40. The grandsons and daughter-in-law had a cheese/pepperoni pizza and a barbeque pork pizza. My son had a catfish sandwich and wife had a grouper sandwich. I picked the seafood platter $40 and included lobster, scallops, salmon and shrimp. We also order crab cakes (2 for $24) to share. When the crab cakes came they had a spicy and a dill sauce. The cakes could have been a meal - they were about 3-4 " in diameter and solid crab with a light breading on the outside. These were very good. The rest of the food came and it was all enjoyed. My seafood platter had plenty to eat and I shared some with my wife.

The Oceanaire is a spectacular restaurant, well worth your consideration. Location in the middle of town just south of the Circle on the west side of Meridian Street with both self park options and also valet parking ($10) available. The menu is biased toward seafood as you might expect, freshly caught and brought in....but also with a fine selection of steaks and salads. Plenty of seating, quite spacious, with an open feeling. And the serving staff is really quite exceptional. Recommend highly with no reservations.

Ocean Prime is an award winning modern American restaurant and lounge from renowned restaurateur Cameron Mitchell. With stunning settings, a vibrant energy, an impressive menu of seafood and steaks and truly exceptional service, Ocean Prime is an ideal pl
Reservations made for 5PM on a Saturday in the bar area. Seated immediately & had a beautiful booth in the corner. Service was great from both of our servers. The hot pretzel is outstanding! Very generous pour of Scotch, probably the best of all restaurants we visit so thank you for that! My husband ordered a filet & the corn. I ordered the House Salad & Twice Baked Potato. We had discussed ordering the onion soup but decided against it. The downside to all of this that the entire meal came out at once. They brought the soup anyway & we explained we did not order but they said we could have it anyway - thank you. It was delicious. The salad was full of flavor with the 3 thin slices of apple & topped with lots of nuts. Dressing was delicious too. The potato was very good, cheesy & topped with a little bacon. My husband devoured his steak & loves the corn. This restaurant is one of our favorites for a high end meal. We have yet to find anywhere around Indy that has a filet to equal this one. The bar area was nice, quiet for the most part & comfortable. Prices are high but for a special treat, are worth it.So glad that you enjoyed your meal with us DDDFJD. We hope to see you again for your next 'treat day'!

Originally established in 1930 Iozzo's Garden of Italy is the Newest Oldest Italian Restaurant in Indianapolis. The high quality menu features a mix of traditional Iozzo Family Italian fare along with a modern twist on Italian dishes.
Our group of 4 had an âOKâ experience in late August. The dinners were delicious and well presented. But we hadn't realized when we made our reservation that the restaurant was participating in the "Devour Indy" promotion which included a special 'value' 3-course dinners (all but one of us chose from this menu.) No complaints about any of the above - it's just that even at 6PM the place was very busy and it continued to get more so. They should have expected this and staffed accordingly. There were long gaps between courses and it was hard to get our server's attention to ask for something. Plus there were a couple of groups of about 8 people to whom our server had to provide much attention (and why do people in groups have to be so noisy - shouting to others at end of the table.) Conclusion, we'll go back on a more normal evening. Nice place with good menu.

We are a family friendly atmosphere. Limited seating, outdoor seating weather permitting. Very affordable fish and seafood fare. From sandwiches to po/boys,homemade sides, sauces and desserts. Fresh baked buns and rolls for every sandwich. Voted #1 Restaur
Just visited this establishment while traveling. Read about it on line and since we like seafood thought weâd try it. They do a very brisk business. You can buy your seafood to cook at home or eat in. Not a large place and probably can seat 30 people. Staff was cordial and efficient. A little on the pricey side but large portions. $35 for a frog leg platter and a shrimp platter. Drink extra and limited to a few Pepsi products. Hubby said the frog legs were good and the chipotle slaw just so-so. Not Spicy at all. We both got green beans, again OK and I had the Mac nâcheese. It was good and would probably pass inspection by kids. Not gluey. My shrimp were plentiful, 17 medium sized, with light breading but very peppery. I could not eat them all because I was full and after awhile the pepper was overwhelming. Cocktail sauce pretty good. Hush puppies were tasty... Doubt weâd go out of way to eat here again. This is not fine dining so if you donât like eating out of a plastic basket or styrofoam youâd better pass on by.
