Corydon was founded in 1808 and served as the capital of the Indiana Territory from 1813 to 1816. It was the site of Indiana's first constitutional convention, which was held June 10–29, 1816. Place was busy, but we still got really good service with plenty of chips/salsa and water refills. The food was prepared quickly and was tasty. I also really liked the corn tortillas. Too often restaurants just steam the tortillas and they taste raw that way. This place must have cooked them on a grill because they were good.

First off let's just say the food is very good. Be prepared to get a to go box though or split the combo fajitas with someone. It is a pile of piping hot shrimp, steak, chicken, onions and peppers and it is delicious. The chips aren't great but the salsas are very good. The margarita (even the small 12 oz. one) is strong and packs a punch, so if you're a lightweight, one will do it. Couldn't help but laugh though at the fact it was mid-May and there were still Christmas wreaths up on the wall. I have eaten here twice now and it didn't disappoint either time.

We love tamales and when we learned that some of the local restaurants get their tamales from this place, we knew we had to check it out. We ordered several for the next week to be picked up (they sell out fast), but they also carry authentic ingredients and vegetables for cooking at home. This is a nice little hidden place, but it's definitely worth finding.
