As Louisville, Kentucky's finest authentic Mexican restaurant, Los Aztecas Mexican Restaurant offers a vast selection of quesadillas, burritos, tacos, tamales, fajitas, enchiladas and other Mexican favorite available either a la carte, as dinners or in a
We were downtown and hungry this was a close by restaurant so we gave it a try. Salsa and chips were nothing special. Very heavy on tomato and light on flavor, spice. Service was more than adequate with attentiveness and definitely quick. They offered both in and out of doors seating. There was a steady amount of customers while we dined. The taco salad was on the smaller side and it was quite bland and that was disappointing. The chimichangas were also weak on flavor. Menu states shredded beef and much to my dismay it was ground. Major foul in my book. Decent portion of rice and beans came with the chimmi but both lacked any real discernible flavor. Several other options in the area to explore next time.

Wild Rita's is Louisville's only Modern Mexican & Tequila Bar! Open for lunch Monday - Friday and dinner seven days a week!
I travel to Louisville a few times a month and typically stay in Nulu. I've been to Wild Rita's a few times and the food is good. I've been when it was packed and also completely dead. Service is great and food is really yummy. Lots of liquor selections and different kinds of margaritas. Food menu is sort of small but adequate. My only complaint is lack of electric outlets (I know this won't bother many people). Since I travel for work I usually bring a laptop and work while I eat.

It is one of a chain.
A great atmosphere makes your meal festive and fun. Can get loud at times, not a lot to deaden the surrounding tables. Food was good especially the chips and dip. Meal itself was good but not great. Worth a try it is good for the price

I would love another taste of the watermelon gazpacho right NOW!!! We had a delightful experience sitting outside and enjoying the weather. The service was quick and well-informed. Although the menu was small, the items were very well executed. And, as someone with a shellfish allergy, it was nice to have some items to still choose from.
