I ate here for breakfast on Sunday morning. It definitely has a charming diner atmosphere. We got right in, despite it being a peak breakfast time at 9:30am. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. All of your standard breakfast items were on the menu, for cheaper than a lot of other breakfast spots in town. I liked that there was an option to order a lot of food, a medium sized meal, or small meal. So many places only serve huge portions, and it was just right for me here. Our food was out quickly and tasted great.

We really enjoyed the food, was plenty and good. Service was slow at first but they were busy. But once we ordered food was timely and tasted delicious.

Just good, flavorful diner food. None of that "farm-to-table, sustainable, non-GMO, locally-sourced, gluten-free" millennial bait. Pancakes made with wheat flour? Check. Bacon? Sausage? Check. Swiss steak, fried chicken. Ditto. And they always have rhubarb pie! The staff can't be beat, always cheerful and efficient. Way to go, Skooter...May your tribe increase.

Home of the Famous Tenderloins and Cheeseburger and Onions. We have been in business over 50 years and we now are under new owners but all the recipes are still the same.
This hole-in-the-wall joint exists pretty much for one purpose--as a handy lunch time spot for the workers of a major factory across the street. The food is what might be called "home cookin'", with an emphasis on some really tasty grilled pork tenderloins. The proprietor buys top quality meat, and it shows in the finished product. There is no better in town. Paper plates and plastic flatware...don't expect too many amenities. Shorty's is what it is. And that great tenderloin is what IT is, too! Easy on the pocketbook.
