Came here with great expectation from local diners. Must say it was very disappointing. The biscuits and gravy were good but cold. Had to go back and be microwaved which is never healthy. The girls said the pancakes were dry and didnât taste very good. My eggs were also cold and the bacon limp and tuff. Service was fairly good and pleasant. The food just did not inspire. If our usual place in Greenwood is a solid 9 this place is a 6. Would not rush back or go out of the way to come here again.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Pot roast every good and reasonable price. Quality of food good for a Dennys. Restaurant could use more help and service little slow.

Oasis Diner is an original 1954 Mountain View Diner from Signac, New Jersey, recently relocated, restored and reopened in Plainfield, Indiana on the Historic National Road.
Plainfield is about 15 miles west of Indianapolis. The Oasis Diner is a little west city center on US 40 and worth the drive. Our first visit was an impromptu lunch decision for something different and were we ever surprised and delighted. We decided to split the fried tenderloin sandwich because I was not very hungry and my experience with fried tenderloin is a flat and tasteless piece of fried and battered piece of cardboard. Not here! Hand cut tenderloin cutlet pounded to about 3/4 of an inch thick then battered and fried to order. This sandwich is huge, thick, juicy and tasty. Something my coworker and I are eager to to have again.Worth every minute of the drive.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated fairly quickly. John was a server and what a delight. He had personality and he made sure we had whatever we needed. I ordered the swiss mushroom burger with cole slaw. Very good. My coffee cup was always filled. The pork tenderloin sandwich which you can get either broiled or breaded was big and great tasting. The tables were almost all filled when I got there and when I left. Great place. Look forward to dining there again when I return to Indy.
