Located in the country, Holt's has limited parking but wonderful food and wonderful people. One wall of the restaurant is a memorial to the owner's teenage son who died in a car wreck. Most of the clientele consists of local workers in their overalls. Worth the drive to experience a slice of life the way it used to be.

While passing through Bedford I noticed Denny's and there isn't any of these where I'm from so I might as well give it a try, All around thumbs up, Jeanette F was a great server, I had the grandslam breakfast for $5.99 and everything was cooked perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We received friendly, flexible service at this small diner. The printed menu is pretty basic: breakfast served all day, a variety of sandwiches on your choice of bread for less than $4 (ham salad, chicken salad, grilled cheese, etc.), sides for about $.95, etc. My daughter enjoyed the Caesar salad with plenty of bacon and topped with two eggs. I highly recommend a sandwich on their homemade bread. More options are posted on their Facebook and chalkboard. Servings are not huge, but I'd rather pay a little less and walk out rather than waddle! Try to get a table covered with maps or recipes as it's sure to spark a conversation. Cold drinks are served in real glasses and coffee in assorted fun mugs.
