Midweek quick dinner stop for 2. Big Mistake! pulled in Chili's parking lot at 8:18 pm. Walked right in. Not crowded! Sat right down. 8:58 pm we still do not have our food. REALLY!!!!! 40 minuets and still do not have a turkey club and a hamburger? Now I remember why it has been over a year since we ate at this Chili's.

We come here because we love the chips and salsa, we have quick and great service and the food selection is diverse yet so very tasty. The price is also reasonable. The place is clean and they have an outside bar area if you desire. My favorite is arroz con pollo which has lots of fresh vegetables, while my husband enjoys the fajitas. Usually the shrimp

I was in town on business by myself and wanted to get some Mexican food. I looked on TripAdvisor like I do in every city that I'm in and it showed this restaurant had some pretty good reviews so I decided to eat here. I walk in, I go to the bar, I wait about 10 minutes for somebody to come up to me at all. I wait another 10 minutes to get chips and salsa and another five minutes to get a drink. There was no bartender on duty, it seemed as if the waitresses were all going back there to make their own drinks for the tables they were serving. There was also another man behind the bar in a button up shirt that seemed to be the manager but would not say anything to any of the customers sitting at the bar at all. Finally after I got my first drink about 20 minutes later I get to place my order. Took a little long for the order to come out as compared to most Mexican restaurants but everything looked good and tasted good for the first seven bites. Upon arrival of the 8th bite I noticed something strange that I was chewing in my mouth. I'm glad I decided to reach in my mouth and take out this item and not swallow it. I pulled an inch-long sliver of metal out of my mouth after it it had stuck me in the gums. It appeared to be a sliver of metal from possibly a steel Brillo pad. Immediately lost my appetite and the next time I saw one of the girls walking around I asked for manager. The same putz comes out from behind the bar as was standing there earlier not doing anything, I proceeded to tell him that I found a piece of metal in my meal and it stuck me in the gums then he wanted me to hand him the piece of metal. I proceeded to hand him the piece of metal, he puts it in his hands he says nothing to me, walks in the back Kitchen and about 30 seconds later I hear about 5 people laughing. Whether or not they're laughing at my situation I do not know but it was kind of weird. The manager never comes back out to say that he's sorry or to offer me a free meal or anything of the sort. One of the waitresses comes back around to me about five minutes later asked me what's going on I told her I have no idea the manager never came back out I told her I'm not paying for the meal I will pay for the two beers that I had and that's it. Needless to say I left the establishment very pissed off and I just don't know how you run a restaurant like that. I'm not from here so I will never be back to this restaurant even if I'm in this area again. I want to eat at Taco Bell after I left this restaurant and it was better.

While I was in town for other reasons, I could see myself making a drive just to eat here! Found this great, newly opened restaurant very close to my hotel, and gave it a try.So glad I did! What a treat, to wood fire grilled salmon, and great service in every aspect. Even the owner, Oscar, stopped by to ensure my meal was just what I expected. Server Angelina was outstanding as well. Not everywhere do you find a Mexican restaurant with a wood fired grille, such an extremely wide variety on the menu, and terrific service, but here at Monterrey, it all comes together!

We've been to 3 Amigos in Kokomo a number of times, it's the place our kids like to visit when they're in town from college. We also love the Taco Tuesdays! Chips and Salsa are delish and I prefer anything with chorizo. The service has always been good...

My customer wanted Mexican and said that his place was good. After living in TX I am always skeptical of Mexican restaurants in the north... That being said, this place was very good. The service was great, the food was great and it was very reasonable. It was very busy and I can see why.

Small place in a small strip mall. Was seated quickly. Server was a bit pushy to take our order which automatically makes me want to leave. But I'm glad we stayed. Food was delicious. Will go back for the tacos and Torta which my husband ordered but now I'm wishing I had. Was very good. I had chicken with rice which was very tasty. Prices were average.

I visited Mi Familia on a Tuesday evening around 6:00pm. The place was about half full, so I was seated fairly quickly by one of the waiters â the waiters seem to double as hosts; they were all busy yet I saw different ones seating people. As I was seated, I was asked what I wanted to drink and I said Sol (Mexican beer) â the restaurant has it in bottles. I was also asked if I wanted any queso or bean dip but I declined, and I was told chips and salsa would soon come out. My beer arrived first, followed by chips with a small carafe of salsa (see picture), all delivered by a different waiter. I told him I was ready to order and asked for Camarones a la Diabla (a.k.a. spicy shrimp). I poured some salsa into the small bowl provided and enjoyed it with the chips â the salsa is not real chunky but has a delicious tomato-with-spice taste that I liked. After eating quite a few chips, the main course showed up (see picture) and was accompanied by tortillas â I wasnât asked if I prefer corn or flour but these seemed to be flour (Iâm good with either). I wasnât sure at first if this was spicy shrimp or something else because it didnât have the usual âdarkerâ sauce I see with most spicy shrimp dishes. In fact, the waiter (a third guy I hadnât seen before) said at first something about garlic shrimp, then chipotle shrimp, and finally I asked if it was spicy and he confirmed it was. Once I dug in I realized it was indeed spicy shrimp â it had a nice kick but not too much. I later talked to my âmainâ waiter and he said at one point the dish was a little too spicy but after some discussions among the employees and the ownerâs wife, the restaurant toned down the heat in the dish. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy shrimp with pico de gallo and avocado slices, and I also enjoyed very good service. The tables have very colorful paintings on them and the chairs are also very bright and carved with Mexican scenes, making for a bright atmosphere. Iâd love to visit again to try the fish dishes as well as other shrimp dishes on the menu!
