The first thing that must be understood is that this is a fast food joint which serves Italian food. Based on that premise, this restaurant delivers very well. The food comes quickly, it is of acceptable quality and the help are friendly. It's far from the best Italian food which is available but, at the low price point it offers, the food is remarkably good. Stop by when you are in a hurry or when the budget is getting squeezed.

We love Shoe's Pizza and eat there frequently. We love the pizza, the boneless wings, the toasted ravioli (filled with sausage not cheese), the mozzarella sticks, the fried pickles, the Italian beef sandwiches, and their salads are great too. They have great lunch specials M-F. You order and pay at the counter and then choose your own table. They bring the drinks and food to your table.

My wife and I like to eat at locations that have good reviews. Life is too short to eat bad food. Albanos is one of the BEST restaurants we have ever dined. Most of the ingredients are fresh or homemade (you can watch them make pasta). They start you off with fresh bread served with a dipping plate of olive oil and warm marinara sauce. This is good enough to be a meal in itself.We shared the Caesar salad--U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-Y good. What a surprise! The salad was warm but the flavors were so intense and well combined. We continued with tortellini dishes- caramelized onion for one dish and tomato basil for the other. Simply outstanding.This was our second experience here and we will definitely return, bringing our foodie friends.

You can enjoy the same food on either side. And, after Memorial Day our outside deck is open in the back with. 10,000 sq. Ft. Game area. We have Botchi ball, full size shuffleboard, 5 cornhole boards, a bar, and lighted seating area under the trees, and music a few days a week. The bar can be smokey but we do have other options. We loved the decor and feel of Tony's. This is the kind of bar/restaurant place that is fantastic on a cold winter night. The kind of place that feels like you belong. It's been here forever and feels like it inside. Very friendly server.Heads on the walls but in the room that we liked best.Pizza was very good. Best in Valpo? Salad was great...dressing home made?We will be back

Met here with work friends for our Christmas lunch. Was treated very well, service courteous & swift. Food was hot & tasty. Most went with the pizza, but the lasagna was good too. Also sandwiches & appetizers. Will be back!

Spent a lovely luncheon at Sage. They were able to adapt several dishes to accommodate my vegan dietary habits and still make my meat loving husband happy. A favorite of both is the starter beet dish and modified margarita pizza. Just ask and offer your preferences and they will do their best to accommodate. Patience on both sides will provide you with a delicious meal. Don't expect them to do all the work as they are not mind readers just humans doing their best to contribute to a wonderful visit. Step up and do your part. I promise they will deliver a lovely dining experience.

Pestos has been a local standard for many years now.....a benchmark that other area restaurants should want to measure and compare themselves to! You just need to take notice of how busy they are virtually every single night to know that this place does everything right.....well not just right....to perfection.The service is top notch....professional, friendly and extremely efficient. When we dined here last night our attendant said she was still in training and being mentored by another person. That other person's guidance seemed a little overbearing at times but hopefully her intentions were on point....suffice it to say that our attendant was simply excellent in all respects.This is always a busy restaurant so the noise is a bit elevated so perhaps not where you want to go for a quiet romantic atmosphere but that aside the ambiance is nice. The menu at Pestos is one of their big draws....it is loaded with a great many options from all the relevant corners. We had not been here for awhile so I was a bit disappointed to see that some of my favorites had apparently been removed from the menu. But my inquiry was met with a ready willingness to provide me with the "Chicken Piccata" that I craved. It was simply fabulous!! I now pray that they return the manicotti and cannelloni dishes to the menu that were also personal favorites.I would be remiss to neglect to mention the outstanding bread w/ dipping sauce that they bring to your table and the salads that are fresh, plentiful and just fantastic....I would highly recommend the creamy basil dressing.

This place has great food and great service. Lot of pizza choices that can be made into sandwiches. Calzones are really big and delicious. You can see them making your food from the kitchen.Place is clean and friendly service.They have salads that are really good. Nice place to meet friends or family. Prices are not bad for the amount of food you get.
