Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Indianapolis. High-speed, history and good old Hoosier hospitality are a few reasons to put Indianapolis on your list of great getaways. Sports is another. From the legendary Indianapolis 500 to the Pacers and the Colts, the city offers ample opportunities to view professional and amateur sporting events, take part in athletic events and visit sports museums. At the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Hall Of Fame Museum you can tour the famous track (try to reserve tickets if there is a race in town) or visit the museum dedicated to automobiles and auto racing. Other sporty museums include the NCAA Hall of Champions. To get in on some of the action, head to SportZone which features six acres of indoor athletic facilities the whole family will enjoy. Those less interested in sports, or with kids in tow, can still find tons to do in and around the city. History, art and other cultural attractions abound. Visit the Children's Museum or checkout the zoo. Stroll along cobblestone streets past 19th-century buildings in the Lockerbie Square District or visit any number of historic landmarks. Known as the "Crossroads of America," more interstate highways bisect Indianapolis than any other city in the country, making it an exciting and easily accessible destination.

Well the restaurant had the same ambience, The quality of the food was marginal, not what I remembered. The pasta ( tortellini ) was oily, with minimal sause, The calamari appetizer well plentiful was somewhat flavorless.... we will not be backluvisland, we're sorry to hear about your dining experience on your recent visit. Had a delightful lunch at Maggianoâs, the dish was delicious. Rigatoni Arrabbiata with Italian sausage is a little spicy but a great dish. We got Momâs Lasagna for our take with dish. In essence you get not only lunch but also dinner. I recommend this Italian restaurant very highly! The food is always top notch!

The pizza business is competitive, and you need to be on your game each and every day. While this restaurant has a loyal following, everyone else may be not so forgiving. They do not appear to be aware that the consumer has plenty of choices.

We were just arriving in town after driving all day and I found this restaurant after searching for somewhere to eat on our way to our hotel. We sat outside which provided a nice casual atmosphere. The service is top notch! Our waitress happily explained to us the dishes and gave us recommendations. She explained the history of the restaurant and how the same family has owned it for over 100 years. She was patient with us and answered our questions. She described the sauce as âslightly sweetâ which turned me off to getting anything with that sauce. Our server also explained that everything is made in house with the exception of the bread and pasta. They hand roll the meatballs daily and make their own sausage. Meals come with soup or salad. My son got the chicken drogato which he enjoyed very much! I had the baked penne with bolognese and tomato cream sauce. It also came with 2 meatballs or sausage. The bolognese seemed a little thick for my taste and was full of big pieces of stew like meat. The tomato cream sauce gave it some moisture. It was just ok. The meatballs were good. I substituted my salad with an antipasto for $4 and it was the best Iâve had!! The chunky blue cheese is awesome and the tuna on the salad is a tasty addition! I think I was too full from my salad to enjoy the pasta.

This is one of the best gourmet pizza places in Indianapolis. They do not have a bad choice on the menu. We also love the cheese bread. Location has street parking and a small lot. It is handicap accessible. They have nice vegetarian options. There can be a wait on weekends so go early.

Fresh-made pasta, fresh seafood, slow-cooked meats and authentic Neapolitan pizza are the traditional comfort-food classics that Italians have been roasting, baking, curing and making in their own kitchens for generations. OP Italian Indy is a revitalized
A business trip to Indianapolis brought me to the J W Marriott. I stopped in for breakfast at OP Italian, and discovered their very interesting selections. I enjoyed the Lemon Avocado Bruschetta with poached egg, and already knew what I was going to order for dinner. The OP House salad and Short Rib Gnocchi was so divine, I ordered the same thing the next day. Zach was terrific. He waited on me both dinners and gave me some nice suggestions the second day, but I couldn't get my previous meal out of my mind. I hope I get a chance to returnThank you for your business and taking the time to leave us a review. We are very pleased to see that Zach delivered excellent service during your recent visit to OP Italian. We appreciate your business and hope you will return soon. Please feel free to contact me directly if there is anything I can do to make your next dining experience even better.Warm regards,Ross HighleyGeneral Manager(317)860-5777

I was with my daughter in Indianapolis for a karate tournament and we decided to have a last-minute planned team dinner after the tournament at 5pm on a Saturday. I called Brozinni Pizzeria and they said they would try to accommodate our party of 40+ as best as they could. When our party of 44 showed up at 5pm, it was a little confusing while they waited for some parties to leave so they could setup large tables so we could all be in the same section of the restaurant. However when they were finished seating all us, the service was absolutely amazing. We had all of the karate team members (ages 8-17) at one long table and all of the parents at 2 other tables. Our server, Sara, did a wonderful job of keeping all of the orders straight, delivering the right food to the right person and keeping all of the bills straight (20 separate bills). The food was also very good.I highly recommend this restaurant and will absolutely be back.

Originally established in 1930 Iozzo's Garden of Italy is the Newest Oldest Italian Restaurant in Indianapolis. The high quality menu features a mix of traditional Iozzo Family Italian fare along with a modern twist on Italian dishes.
Our group of 4 had an âOKâ experience in late August. The dinners were delicious and well presented. But we hadn't realized when we made our reservation that the restaurant was participating in the "Devour Indy" promotion which included a special 'value' 3-course dinners (all but one of us chose from this menu.) No complaints about any of the above - it's just that even at 6PM the place was very busy and it continued to get more so. They should have expected this and staffed accordingly. There were long gaps between courses and it was hard to get our server's attention to ask for something. Plus there were a couple of groups of about 8 people to whom our server had to provide much attention (and why do people in groups have to be so noisy - shouting to others at end of the table.) Conclusion, we'll go back on a more normal evening. Nice place with good menu.

This restaurant never fails to deliver classic Italian dishes, from the wonderful warm bread to the luscious desserts. The ambiance is delightful, especially in the garden, where heaters have been placedto extend the season. Our family frequently goes here for special occasions, and they are always special. Go early.PS - the waiters were shirts that read Mama's Boys. Charming.
