When a restaurant is crowded with locals for lunch you know the food will be good.....and it was! The outside area was packed so we waited for a table inside. The lunch special of Chicken and Risotto was so filling but it was hard to stop eating because it was so tasty.Thank you for your nice Review! Come again soon!

Nancy and I are on a Beer Run and now on our way home from Kalamazoo. We decided Ft. Wayne would be a good stop for lunch and a brew or two. A little Google search provided us with a couple of stops. The Hoppy Gnome was the first on the short list, and it was an excellent choice. We bellied up to the bar as we typically do. It was lunch time and the place was busy. We ordered a couple of really good IPAs and some food. I had a cup of Chicken Posole and a Wild Mushroom Torta (sandwich), the Posole was simply wonderful and the sandwich was good, too. Nancy got three tacos with bib lettuce instead of taco shells. One was a Duck Confit, one fish and one with Korean Short Rib. She devoured them. Good brews, good food, good service. An excellent experience. Thanks so much for visiting David! Cheers :)

We stopped in Saraâs with another couple when we were passing through town. The menu is extensive & we had a hard time deciding what to order. Two of us went with Broderickâs (our server)suggestion of a âgiant taterâ. It was huge-bigger than my husbandâs hand. Our husbands both ordered breakfast-which is served all day. They came with equally huge pancakes. Food was delicious & service was great. Would definitely recommend.

A fun place with good food! We stayed at the Guesthouse and stopped in for dinner. Fabulous service (I forgot the name of our server) :( Prime rib was cooked a little more than we would've liked but was still delicious! Definitely worth checking out for the breakfast buffet. If we're ever traveling in the area we'd definitely stay here again!

We were given gift certificates for Chops and loved the setting. Although it is in a strip mall area the interior is well decorated and has an elegant feel. We came at lunch otherwise we would have been overdressed. The menu was simple but the filet mignon was priced at $24. The food was good and the waitstaff was excellent. It would be a great place for a special occasion.

This is a very quaint, oddly but interestingly decorated restaurant. The menu is extensive with mouth-watering choices and the service couldn't have been better! ALL personnel were cheerful, friendly and totally brushed up on their customer service skills - although some of the women servers could have put on a larger size shirt to hold their tops a bit less revealing. The food was much more enticing to look at - presentation was a 10. So here's the topper: There were 4 in our party - my husband's entre didn't get cooked at the exact same time as the rest of ours did, so he had to wait a bit longer for his food while the rest of us ate. When it was ready - a manager brought it out and profusely apologized for the delay. We hardly noticed - we were dining with some dear friends we hadn't seen for a while - we didn't care - when the food did come - it was lovely, hot and fresh - yum! The server kept apologizing and was so attentive! Then - - when the bill came - there was no charge for my husband's entre!!! None of this "oh we're so sorry - we're going to take 10% off you bill. Whoopie - No - it was "No charge!" and we're so sorry - we do apologize!" Keep in mind this is a pricey restaurant! I WILL go back!

Food is great! Price is right! Service is quick! Staff is friendly! What more do you want? For those not from the area (like me) the "chili soup" on the coneys is very much like Cincinnati chili in flavor. I ate three coneys and a slice of pie and left stuffed, but I'm a lightweight compared to what saw some folks putting away!

Seated immediately and our server Gabriel arrived a minute later to ask for our drink order.....fresh and yummy bread was brought to our table within minutes. The house wine was a generous pour, my tuna appetizer was sooooo good, my husband loved his shrimp and scallop dinner. This is a little pricey for the area but you so deserve it.

The place is small but the food is scrumptious with a variety of seafood cuisine. They have very good clam chowder soup.
