Tell someone they can eat all the food they want for a fixed price and they will come. The food has variety, steaming in pans, desserts look yummy. But it's all an illusion. It's like eating a cardboard picture of food. Nothings tastes like anything, and in the end, it's no bargain, regardless of quantity.

Took an Uber since they have bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary specials some days. Was pleasantly surprised at how big the place was. Cool decor, cool and friendly staff. Has outdoor patio and inside seating for large and small groups. Food was very good. Had bbq sandwich slaw and fries. Fries are crispy and excellent! Table had a fried green tomato app but it wasnât worth the price (Very thin tomatoes and not many). Great drinks. Walkable to other Haynie Corner establishments too.

My husband and I went for brunch on a Sunday. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat. The downside was we had to wait outside. However, all was forgiven when we were seated. Love the historical décor and the food was amazing. Service was wonderful!! I viewed their pastry case and saw scrumptious desserts. The lunch menu looks wonderful as well, and we are planning to hit it up again soon to try it out. Don't miss this little gem on Franklin.

Bandanas has a great selection of BBQ sauces and meats, its usually always hot, the only thing I'm not a fan of is their ribs, i have actually bent a fork trying to eat them, other than that, i have not been disappointed with any meat they offer

Met friends for dinner......havenât been there since the annoying experience last October, 2018, which was our 3rd experience in a row of being overcharged. Ordered items from Hooked on Tuesday menu which states that Bang Bang shrimp appetizer is on special for $6 (reg $10.90) with the Hooked on Tuesday deal. The meal was good and the server was efficient. When the check came, the appetizer was rang up as $10.90, so I called it to the attention of our server. Her response was, âso you want the price fixâ? No maâam, we want to pay the higher price, NOT the one listed on your menu!!!!!!! She adjusted the price but this annoying pattern seems too frequent to be random. I guess most folks probably donât look at the bill.

We enjoyed an evening here during the Nut Club Festival. The ambience was very festive, both inside and out. We loved the restaurant itself. It was a great building and seemed authentic-floors/walls/ceiling/bar/decor were all very cool. The staff was friendly from arrival to "goodbye". Our meals and drinks were delivered quickly. In our opinion, the food quality was in the top 25%We concluded that it was very good, but not perfect. We went on to agree that better German food is hard to find in the US. We recommend Gerst Bavarian Haus and would enjoy eating here again.

Proudly occupying the space of the former Greyhound Depot, BRU Burger Bar Evansville is the fifth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Focusing on the American classic, the burger, the menu offers a wide array of burgers, fries, shakes along with
Great little find in downtown. In the old Greyhound building making it a very unique location. Local beers on tap. I had the bourbon burger based on my serverâs recommendation. Phenomenal! And the onion rings were incredible! My co-worker has the blue cheese burger - again on her recommendation. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Make reservations for partyâs of more than 2. 7 of us enjoyed an awesome family style dinner. We all ordered a different meat and shared everything. The chicken gizzards were huge. The fried chicken was moist. The ham was my favorite. You get rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans and a vinegar based slaw. Everything was soo tasty! It was a drive for us but we will definitely be back. My son and I also enjoyed the hostess showing and telling us all the history- for instance, it was a stop for the Underground Railroad! My only small (but understandable policy) negative is that you donât get to take the leftover sides home so we felt like we wasted some food. (You can, and we did, take home your leftover meat.)
