Picked this property because of amazing pools. Had a lovely, quiet room with refreshing balcony. The property is well maintained with attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and professional. The valet parking set up is a machine. Well run, friendly and professional. The pools were fantastic.

Discover the natural beauty of Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Indian Wells. Our sophisticated golf and spa hotel resort in Indian Wells, California is a restful sanctuary set against the backdrop of the beautiful Coachella Valley. Ideal for business, leisure, romance, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or family getaways, our hotel offers a luxury lifestyle experience with superb service.
The hotel is decent and the rooms are newly renovated; however, this is my no means a luxury hotel. It’s a 3.5 star hotel trying to dress itself up as a five-star hotel. The service at all the restaurants is exceptionally slow and the food quality is mediocre at best. The resort fee is steep given that the kids club and spa were closed, and there really is nowhere great to bike with the complementary bicycles. The pool area is nice but you’re forced to pay for a deck chair if you want to watch your small children at the beach area. The Cava buffet breakfast is the best thing there but it’s quite expensive at $31 US. It is $10 for children which is a good deal for them. Overall, the service is OK but there is no one offering cleaning or turn down services in the rooms and most of the resort features you have to find out by yourself. I wouldn’t pay $1000 a night for a room here – better off using Bonvoy free night stay instead.

In the desert, all resorts are an oasis, but only one is the Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa. Nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, Miramonte’s 215 guestrooms, suites & villas are woven into 11 acres of citrus groves, rose & herb gardens. Bougainvillea-covered villas welcome guests to their soothing sanctuary retreats.
The property is on several acres, beautifully landscaped and maintained. There are palm trees, lush plants, fireplaces, fire pits, and outdoor seating surrounding the pool area. There were string lights and soft live music on Friday night. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the furnishings were gorgeous. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant’s decor was nice, the food was great, and the service was wonderful!

Hotel advertised $90 a day, but when you book the room there's hidden costs, resort fees, parking which came up to $160. Bait hook, it's a nice place and is worth $160 if you have the money but I could have gotten a cheaper place for under $100 in the same area, point is the hotel needs to come up front of the total cost instead of tricking you out of your money. One of the reasons I booked at this hotel was because they have a hot tub, I never got to use it because it was full of people that never got out. Again, it's a nice place, just don't like getting lied to.
