Oasis in Imsouance
Reviewed By MoroccolivinMy two sons and I spent 3 nights at Dar Zeitoun. We were there to surf and had signed up for the surf package which included surf coaching, equipment, use of the equipment all day after the lesson, and dinner. Ostensibly you go to Imsouane to surf - I can't think of why one would go otherwise (maybe paragliding). The town is pretty ramshackle and fly bitten. However, the surfing is amazing, even in low season. In this context, Dar Zeitoun shines. The surf coaching was the best we had experienced in Morocco and we had taken lessons at three other beaches. Adrien and Ashraf were superb instructors. Owner Amine was great and laid back. Olo Surf House sits just below the Dar Zeitoun Villa and the surfing is run out of that premise but both have direct access to the beach and the waves through a 5 min walk. Dar Zeitoun is truly an oasis in Imsouane. It is incomparable in terms of class, service and a cool vibe. It is a chic, boutique hotel with perhaps 9-10 rooms, several of which are off the main house and are called bungalows. The three of us stayed in a bungalow which was small and while modern and impeccably clean, left us no space or desire to hang out in. The shower was superb and no shortage of solar heated water. However, the entire place is designed to hang out around the immaculate infinity pool with black tiling and magnificent view and gorgeous garden. We arrived just after they had opened up after months of closure due to the confinement related to Covid-19. The service was excellent. Four different staff took time to remember all three of our first names. They were on every request. I asked for a fan in the room and they went and bought one from Agadir - a 2 hour drive away. We've lived in Morocco for 2+ years and Lucia and her staff were excellent and very attentive. Very unusual. The dinners were good particularly considering options for dinner are few in town. Overall, we had a great time and will go back. The total cost per night per person including all of the surfing ended up being pretty reasonable in the end.

Imsouane Hostel is a quiet and secure place with a welcoming staff made of surfers; and may provide very good advices. The basement of our hostel accommodates the unique pharmacy in Imsouane, the hostel is nearby different restaurants.
A nice place to chill
Reviewed By skilipiteA nice and calm place to chill, close to the shops and to the beach. Great view from the roof, we enjoyed our stay there and the rooms were clean. Safe environnement and people are friendly . Sure we will come back !

Very bad experience
Reviewed By XaffieUpon arrival we found that the hotel room was not cleaned, the TV was broken, and there was no toilet paper. When we approached the manager, he did not offer to solve these issues and even recommended that we should leave a bad review if we are not pleased. Since we already paid he felt that there was no need to assist us in these basic requirements. The staff is incredibly rude and incapable of simple hotelmanagement. Please save your time, money and energy and do not consider visiting this hotel in case you want to enjoy your stay. All you will get for 120 euro per night is a room below average, insufficient service, no toilet paper, and a smell of sewerage in your room. I hope that this honest review helps in preventing ruining someone's vacation.

Oui ce n est pas le luxe, c'est roots et personne n'est parfait, on peut aussi tomber un mauvais jour avec des mauvais coucheurs. Mais au final ce qui compte le plus et qui est rare, c est de se sentir vraiment accueilli. Et en respectant un minimum les contraintes de chacun Emy essaie toujours de vous satisfaire et de trouver une solution à toutes vos questions et projets ! Surf, balades, retirer de l argent, imprimer des papiers, trouver un taxi à bon prix... La convivialité est le maitre mot, les rencontres sont souvent belles et vraies car encouragées par l'entregens naturel d Emy. Soirées gaies, jeux et/ou musique, trés bon repas !Pas un voyage; une experience, enthousiasmante!

Reviewed By AuroreVGXI had an amazing stay in Afer surf Imsouane. The place is confortable and clean, with different spaces to chill on the roof, shared dorms were good and there is a bathroom at each floor. It’s possible to order breakfast and diner there or you can also make it by your own in the kitchen’s guests. Cherry on top of the cake : the guy who runs the place, Hamza, is adorable and really helpful.

Quiet rooms, bathroom extremely clean, easy check in... Really nice apartment that exceeded expectations ?. Very close to a beautiful beach. Special thanks to the owner SAID, his hospitality was outstandingly exceptional ^_^ Would recommend if looking for a very quiet holiday.
