Leonardo Resort, an enchanting Italian borgo between the hills and the sea, immersed in tha nature of the famous Riviera dei Fiori.
Perfect stay at this family run resort Small-scale resort so never crowded. Superfriendly service all around. Huge selection of breakfast and real home made cakes, made by the owner. About 10 minute walk to the beaches but also good to stay at the pool all day. Dinner also possible about every second day. I can recommend this place.

We have stayed twice at this wonderful, family run boutique hotel. It really isn't so much about the hotel as it is about the people running it. Although a bit difficult to find, it is worth the effort. Our room had a little balcony perfect for having a glass of wine while looking over the city and marina. The room was simple but nicely appointed. The real story is the staff. Luca, who runs the hotel, is always helpful and willing to meet your needs. He recommended a restaurant for us and made the reservations (by the way, it was excellent). They have a small bar there and it was relaxing to have a cocktail or glass of wine at the end of the day. Breakfast, which is included in the very reasonable price of the room, is excellent. It was probably the best of any we had at any of our hotel stays. Expresso coffees or Americano coffee was available as well as teas, and fruit juices. The choices of breakfast items was large including a freshly made omelet to order if you wished. There is parking available onsight which is free - another nice amenity. If you aren't looking for the big, fancier, hotel experience and prefer the smaller, personal type of hotel stay, then this is the place for you. Oh, did I mention that is is a short walk to the Marina where you can gawk at the many yachts moored there? Or the wonderful gelato place right down the hill?

What a fabulous place. We found ourselves in Imperia while travelling around Italy with friends and stopped at the first place that had a B&B sign and parking nearby. This was one of life's lucky finds. Don't let the steps put you off because it's worth the climb. The rooms are electic and individual in style and the owners have created an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. There is a small appartment available as well as individual rooms, a sun terrace on the roof, wonderful views, organic breakfast prepaed by the owner and a lovely beach close by. The owners will advise you of the best places for dinner, and the best place for ice cream.

Opened in June 2004, this relaxing sanctuary is situated right in the town centre of Oneglia, where the historic Rossini Theatre once stood. As a tribute to its illustrious past, the hotel has preserved parts of the old theatre's sets and wooden columns, creating a unique and magical atmosphere known for luxurious accommodation and excellent service. Our aim is to transform any stay here - whether for business or for holiday - into pure pleasure.
We stay at this very nice hotel for 3 nights. We really appreciated the hotel staff at reception, we found them very helpful, professional, and pleasant. We found the staff serving breakfast were less professional and kind. Another point strong of this hotel is the location of the hotel. This hotel is located at the heart of Imperia a lovely town located by the see. Staying at Imperia also allows us to visit San Remo, Monaco and lovely small towns located by the seashore. It is good value for money. We highly recommend it!

An old Villa from XIX century, surrounded by a huge park (10.000 sqm) with outdoor swimming pool, tennis court (hard court) and restaurant/bar. Located in a marvellous position, in between Porto Maurizio and Oneglia. The apartments inside the Villa has been completely renovated in 2014.
Really enjoyed staying at Villa Marina. We had a studio apartment for 7 nights at the back of the house which was quite large and on split levels with a little kitchenette. It was very simple but completely adequate and the air conditioning / fan worked really well. The staff are friendly as well as the couple who run the little restaurant / bar next to be pool. If you're going have dinner there - the food is delicious. The pool was lovely to lounge by and most guests ended up in the bar in the evening and everyone was really friendly. The hotel is well position between the old town and new town so you can walk to either easily in 15 mins (it's not as far as it looks!). Plenty of car parking for those who drive and there was large 24-hour supermarket 10 mins walk away if you plan on doing some cooking. The only downside is the internet which was basically non-existent / very slow, but aside from that I would highly recommend as lovely chilled getaway.

Romantic and relaxing,in the green ligurian hinterland,so near tothe sea side, but so far away from the crowd and the beaches'noise.Precious,elegant...that's the Mito.A country's B&Bwhere you can appreciate the true ligurian life style, embraced by the olive trees and enveloped in the fragrance of broom and myrtle.A charming B&B,where brakfast reminds you of your grandmother's and her homenade jam.
We spent 4 days in this paradise… everything was perfect: the flat (Il Sole), the view, the garden and the amazing pool! Breakfast was from another world… every morning we could not wait to see what the hosts had prepared for us… and everything was cooked using products from their own garden! Best B&B ever, no doubt!

Good location, poor maintance and management. The saving grace of this residence is that it's located high above the hassle and bustle of Porto Maurizio, gifted with fresh air and beautiful vistas( from rooms as well). However, the current owner (family owned) Fiorella, seem to have zero interest in the up keep of property and the comfort of her guests. Another saving grace of this otherwise lovely place is front of this establishment handled by warm, friendly Carolina. For travelers who choose residence specifically, a good working fridge is a must. When I approached the owner (who had zero hospitable attitude toward us, the new guests) about the poor functionality of the fridge in our room, she disregarded it carelessly, claiming that all hotel fridges don't work well. WRONG! We just happened to stay at quite a few residence and hotels as well with fine working fridge. Second issue was the broken shower door, who not only was a part of one of the tiniest shower boxes we had ever seen (and yes, we did stay in Paris) kept falling and letting water flood the small, windowless bathroom. Again, with disregard she told us that it is a new shower (didn't seem like it, besides that its irrelevant) however she will have her lifeguard / handyman/ maintenance man fix it the next day. NOT. Five days after arrival it was finally fixed, in the mean time we had to take care of the flooded floor everyday. Mentioning a reduction in the rate for all that inconvenience didn't seem to be taken seriously. Other issues that other travelers might be interested in knowing ( but were not discussed with the staff) is level of cleanness which is not high. Our room number 25, which is bilocale, I.e. 2 room, had a SINGLE window in the whole apartment. Two bathrooms, of which one smells of bad odor (plumbing issues....). All in all we found that the value is not matched with the rate. The bad attitude by the owner is a reflection of all the things that are missing and/or dysfunctional in this lovely spot.

I'd like to give this 3-stars, but I can't. It was comfortable and clean, but it really is in need of some upgrades. The AC didn't work so well in my room, so it was difficult to sleep. The breakfast in the morning that they advertise is kind of a let down. I think these places should be more honest with their adverting. This place is kind of out of the 80's.
