Un ambiente agradable y la comida deliciosa, sobre todo la menestra incomparable.Una vista perfecta al lago San pablo y al volcán Imbabura.
This little gem of a restaurant is upstairs and behind the expresso bar called Daily Grind. The restaurant is open Thursday, thru Saturday and serves home made hearty soups with crusty bread, and baked stuffed hot potatoes. It is on Parke Bolivar and you
I ate here in the evening and was disappointed, noting the restaurant had an award of excellence from Tripadvisor from 2016. While the view of the park is excellent, the food was not. I had guacamole and papas something. The guacamole was very spicy and the chips were like the last bits out of the bag, small pieces hardy useful for eating guacamole. The papas were overdone and crispy, more like potato chips served with two small patties of beef?? The price was high considering the amount and quality of the food. Give this place a miss, there are many more fine restaurants in town with cheaper prices and better food. One of the worst meals I had in Ecuador.
We care about providing an excellent service identifying your needs and satisfying them proactively. In a comfortable place, a quiet environment and with the best view to one of the most touristic areas otavalo
I don't usually review unless I find somewhere exceptional so that is the reason I feel compelled to "gush" about 4 month open Lady Blue found on the side road off the northeast corner of Plaza de Ponchas in Otavalo. Up on the 2nd floor, it overlooks the market with lovely views of the volcanoes in the background. Spotlessly clean & very modern with tables, chairs & even the bar, made with wooden skids & decorated with twinkling lights & old black & white photos hung on bulldog clips. Comfy cushions & free Wi-Fi compel me to stay longer & no one is pushed to leave even though most tables are occupied by locals & visitors alike. Many places offer a set menu for $2-$3 but at the Lady Blue, the menu changes daily with appetizers like stuffed crepe, spring roll, always followed by a delicious big bowl of soup, choose from 3 or 4 entrees all beautifully served on modern white china. 1 day I had pork slice with hearts of palm sauce, rice, red cabbage salad, fries & broccoli with a garlic sauce. A large glass of fresh juice & dessert served in a Martini glass completes every meal...for $2.50. Andres, the young owner is the nicest young man, speaks excellent English, answers all our questions with a smile & even tried to refuse a tip! You could eat in the washroom they are so clean & there is soap & towels to wash up (not always the case in Ecuador). I'm very happy to have found a place I will definitely be taking friends & family when I return to retire in 2019.
This place has a great atmosphere from the moment you walk by it on the sidewalk. Soothing garden at the entry and either indoor or alfresco seating. A wonderful old building with delicious, artistic meals served by a very proper waiter in a tux. Meals are very affordable with Almuerzo specials for $4 each, including a fun and well presented appetizer, followed by soup of the day. Then a far above average entré with fresh fruit juice and then a delectable pastry dessert. Our waiter was friendly but very proper. This place is not to be missed on any visit to Otavalo!

The bar "The Red Pub" is a fantastic place to spend time with friends."The Red Pub" is located more or less in the center of Otavalo and it is worth taking a walk to have a nice time at this place. Eating here a good burger is the best so the prices are local prices and not the tourist prices that many restaurants are doing! It is also a good place to spend a good night the music is nice and noisy! Good prices and service. It has cheap beers, big and cheap delicious nachos with cheese and guacamole and best of all: great music! Great Enchants 80 and 90 on the TV, and the staff is cool. The owners buy everything from local businesses that are around the place. The workers are very nice and offer a good deal. It is a good place for foreigners as residents of Otavalo who wish to have a good time with their friends or loved ones.In fact - all you can ask for in a bar!
