We had a family gathering (8 of us) to have some Irish tavern food and enjoy the delightful sounds of the Whiskey Brothers. This is a happy place. The service was good even on a busy evening and the food was acceptable. We weren't expecting gourmet selections and the menu was interesting and pleasing. The music was the heart of the matter and was sensational. It creates a merry atmosphere for all to enjoy. There were young families, dating couples, and some pretty old dudes like myself all having a wonderful time. I highly recommend

Of all their business ventures, starting as the bagel boys, this is my favorite. It is quieter than the sports bars, and has more menu options. We enjoyed a nice family dinner, for a moderate price, in a relaxing yet interesting atmosphere. (Check out the ceilings and artwork) Service and facilities exceeded expectations. And the food? Well, we just put it on the "local favorites" list.

One of Chicago's best places for German dining, coupled with a beer selection that is truly second to none. Rated one of the fifty best "Beer Restaurants" in the world by RateBeer and "Best Beer Bar in America" by USAToday's 10Best for 2017. We feature 39
I get back to Lisle frequently and head here for a good meal without stress. The menu is easy to read and the entrees provide good variety. The sides are tasty and serve well to complement the main course. I never quite leave enough for dessert, but a great beer always slakes my appettite.

The Dock Bar and Grill at Seven Bridges Golf Club is truly the most unique and scenic dining experience in DuPage County. As you approach its open-air seating you are entering into an area of tranquility. As you take your seat at one of our tables or at t
The Dock Bar and Grill features covered outdoor seating that looks over a beautiful golf course and ponds with abundant wildlife including several blue herons. Their menu is also full of intriguing items that, alas, are mostly not well executed. For instance, the flank steak flatbread with blue cheese was nicely seasoned but the steak was NOT cut across the grain (Really?) so the chew was rubbery tough. My wife's crab cake BLT had fresh trimmings but the crab cake itself was not good. My tacos were both dry and drab. On the positive side, our guest enjoyed her Reuben sandwich and the fried zucchini sticks and sauce were good. The menu and view are great! I with the kitchen execution matched up to both.

I have no idea why this place is packed... Busy, loud and very pricey for frozen food. The severs have allot of energy pushing everything on the menu. We had pretzel app, boneless wings and wedges. Wedges were cold when I complained they said they would get me new ones never happened. The wings are the wings and with soft drinks our bill was $50. Do yourself a favor go to wing stop with fresh homemade fries and you will pay less, it's not as loud!

I am a frequent patron of various Chili's restaurants because my son has severe food allergies. Specifically, he is allergic to milk, eggs, beef, butter, nuts and fish. But by some miracle, none of those things are in Chili's original BBQ ribs. He can't have any other of the sides except for mandarin oranges, so we get him two servings of that. Furthermore, he can have none of the appetizers with the exception of the chips and salsa and believe me, he eats an full serving of it each time we go. We've never had a mishap at a Chili's one single time and for that, they will have my undying business. The service is typically solid no matter where we go. But for some reason, my entire family has noticed that the tortilla chips that they make at the location at 75th Street and Lemont Road in Downers Grove are 100% of the time OVER cooked. Both the color, the flavor and the texture of the chips are different from EVERY OTHER location that we have been to (about 20, nationally over the years). I guess I never really thought about it until last night when he said something about it and I have to agree.....the tortilla chips are both excessively greasy and overcooked....but ONLY at this location. It's probably just us being ridiculous since we have nothing but good things to say about Chili's in general since a couple things are friendly to my son. But this one thing alone takes this particular location down from VERY GOOD overall to a little bit less than that.
The place is really cool. Had a fabulous long lunch with the husband before going to see a movie. He ordered a beer which was excellent and I ordered a glass of Chardonnay. Upon checking reviews we saw that others recommended the pig wings...... fabulous and deviled Scotch egg......amazing. We also split a fennel sausage pizza ( Neapolitan style) which was just ok. Needed some herbs or extra flavor. All in all a great place. Modern decor with the brew tanks on show, shuffle board, lots of seating (high tops, standard tables and bar seating) an eclectic menu all cooked from scratch so you canât be in a hurry or pop in for a quick bite. Our server Gabrielle was excellent and friendly. Our only issue, and our fault for not noticing was the price of the wine. $12 for a really small glass!!!!! What...... are we in the city???? The cocktails were only $10 each. Looked up the wine and you can buy a bottle at Binnyâs for less than $20.

BBQ, Cajun & Southern Cuisine. Serving breakfast on the weekends only; Over 120 Craft beers with 31 on tap! We do carry-out, delivery, catering, in-house parties, and banquets.
Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe is located in the same building as the Chateau Orleans banquet hall. We attended a memorial luncheon for a co-worker and found that the luncheon menu was directly from Chuck's Southern Comfort Cafe. For Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe there is an outdoor patio that is shaded that fronts on Cass Ave. As you walk in to the main entrance, if you go to the left you are in the banquet hall, but if you go to the right, you are in Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe. We started with soup and salad. We had browned chicken, pulled pork and mashed potatoes. The chicken was tender, as was the pulled pork. Really good for a catered luncheon. The staff was pleasant and efficient. Though we have been to the other Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe in Burban, this Darien location is a bit closer, so I'm sure that we'll be back.

My family has always loved the unique burger combinations that Shanahan's offers, and if you happen to visit them on a Monday, all burgers are $5.00. How can you beat that!! The service is always friendly and families can enjoy their meal in the front room, leaving the bar area for other patrons. Also, I have attended an office function there and the food was amazing - especially their chicken.
