For quick, reliable pizza with excellent deals and coupons, call Domino's. You can build your own pizza---from sauces to thickness (live the Brooklyn!) to toppings. Other items are surprisingly good too, like the Italian sausage sandwich and pastas (although you may wish the serving size was a little larger). The staff on Rte 14 are particularly courteous and efficient and I appreciate the tracking and feedback given to customers.

I am originally from the Chicago suburbs - 50 years - I had made my way through here eating food - good food. I have my own favorites of pizza, hot dogs, beef, pasta, gyros, tacos and on and on. And, there are too many unnecessary food battles here. So, try it - you'll like it...Clean - fast - friendly staff - Sausage pizza - thin crust - cut in squares - greasy top - not over sauced - tasty cheese - done crust - THANK YOU! Yum - All of that WORKS for me.

For those old timers in the neighborhood you probably miss Sals pizza, and have been searching for something good ever since. Theres been plenty of pizza places that have come and gone around here, but Papa Saverios has been around for along time but not close enough to deliver. They took over Taylor Streets old location another place that had promise but didnt last. i hope Papa Saverios stays for a long time. ive eaten there for lunch and they have great specials, not too many pizza places do lunch and sell slices, but theyre good. The thing that has them on the top of the list was that they now have online ordering. I was one of the first online orders and they were quick to call and verify that the order came through right.The girl who called to check on my order was very polite and asked all the appropriate questions about the whole online order process and gave us a discount for answering their questions. We got a large thin crust with some wings. As nice as the girl on the phone was; the food did not arrive very hot. We live in a remote spot so i wasnt too surprised but it was warm enough to eat a slice (I had the oven preheating just in case) while the rest of the pizza and wings got reheated. Let me say that the wings are AWESOME! I ordered mild and they had flavor with some heat and werent drowning in sauce. The wings are cooked perfectly and are full size wings not just drumettes. definitely give them a try. The pizza was good (despite putting in the oven) the sauce was good, a little more wouldnt have hurt and the crust a tad crispier and it would have been perfect. i definitely recommend giving them a try. ill be ordering from then again and hopefully for years to come.

This place makes a consistently awesome pizza. Having grown up in Chicago I've enjoyed deep dish and our version of thin style my whole life so admittedly my experience with New York style is limited. The biggest difference between the two is less sauce. The pizza is thin but the crust is forgiving in the middle and firm around the sides. The sauce is consistent (I've been ordering here now for about a year), sweet and not bitter. The ingredients taste fresh. While the prices are very comparable to other pizza joints in Crystal Lake, the pies seem larger. The place is run well. My pizza is always ready when they say it will be. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. There is some seating on the inside and I'll frequently see folks enjoying their dinner on site versus takeout. I recommend this pizza restaurant and it is arguably better than any other pie you can get in Crystal Lake.

I have lived in the area for years and finally took the advice of a couple of friends who told me to try Pinemoor. Maybe the name didn't sound Italian enough for me. However the pizza did. I was very impressed with this little carry-out only hole in the wall. I had them cook mine on the crisp side and not cut it. Just a touch on the greasy side, but that was fine. Very small price difference from 12" to 14" pie.

Called ahead and told 10 minute wait for our group, left name and phone number. Arrived and found out the girl remembered the call but couldn't find where she wrote it down. Said it would be 10 minutes, it was 30, seems she tells everybody 10 minutes. Claimed lack of servers when people complained, several groups left!Food and service were very good, but the front desk needs training desperately.

We had the decadent parmesan truffle fries -- definitely enough for two and, depending on what else you are ordering, enough for four. We also had the deep-dish spin art pizza (spinach, artichokes, diced red peppers, cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, and fresh tomato sauce), which was outstanding -- and serves 4 - 5. There are booths and tables, plus a fireplace. There is a case near with entrance with to-go pizzas to bake at home, and I was told that they could freeze your preferred pizza for home baking if you give them enough lead time.Georgio's is located in downtown Crystal Lake, across from the train station. There is ample street and lot parking.
