Riviera Maya is a staple Alton restaurant. Well really El Mezcal was the staple, but Riviera Maya replaced it a couple of years ago, but they are pretty much the exact same restaurant. It's the same menu you can find at every American-style Mexican restaurant in the Midwest, so if you like that, you'll like Riviera Maya.

We stopped here for lunch. The restaurant was very busy, but our meal was served fairly quickly. The food is what one would expect from a Taco Bell.

This was a drive thru order. There was on one other car ahead of me. Placed an order for a medium drink & 2 cheese roll ups. Got to window, paid and left. On my way back to work started eating one roll up, then grabbed for other and felt something weird in bag and pulled out a vinyl glove! Immediately turned around & headed back to store. Went inside asked to speak to manager which happened to be lady at cash register. Gave her bag and asked to look inside and see if she saw anything abnormal. Apparently the vinyl glove wasnât the end of the trash......there was more trash in the bag. I told her how absolutely disgusting this was and I just wanted a full refund (which was given) and I would never visit that Taco Bell again. I am letting as many people I can about this disgusting practice.

Driving onto the lot, one can only wonder if the adventure on the inside is more promising than the outside. It was. We had a nice lunch, served well. Everything was flavorful. What was supposed to be hot was, what was supposed to be cool was as well.Nothing fancy here; oilcloth on the tables, a mix of chairs and tables.

I've been coming to this Los Tres location for years, with pretty good results. We usually get the "Fajita for 2" ($21.99 for single meat and $24.99 for mixed meat). The portion size is large and you probably won't leave there hungry. I can't think of anything else that separates this Mexican restaurant from all the others.

Extensive menu of traditional Mexican fare - both the standards (tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc) and more upscale options (shrimp, steak, fish). Great chips with freshly made salsas -- some spicy some mild & chunky. Great margaritas -- only $2 till 3 pm -- also by the pitcher. Full bar & plenty of good beer options including Modelo, etc.Not a fancy place, but authentic and well prepared food. Love it. Wish it was closer to Phoenix. It would do quite well here - even in the land of Mexican restaurants on every corner.

I have been going here since it opened and I have always loved it. The nacho's are great and the margarita's are wonderful. I have had all of the chicken dishes as well as chicken nachos and they are fantastic! The white Mexican cheese sauce is fantastic to dip nachos in. The service is always fantastic! The manager always checks to make sure everyone is taken care of!
