JMJ If this is the other restaurant that they have opened in Alsip-nothing to get excited about. More interested in remodelling the building than serving the best food. The taste was OK but not worth the price when there are many Mexican restaurants close by. The decor could use alot but maybe they will work it out and get the help a little better trained in time. I suggest waiting awhile to visit and THEN see how it goes. They need to offer more specials or larger portions. Also how clean can it be with all the construction still going on. Is it aiming to take customers from the Large sports bar/ entertainment center/ fund raiser center?? or be a family restaurant?? Do they know?
We work right down the block from here. The guys pick up tamales in the morning on the way in. We heat them up and have them at break time. They are the best I've had since being in Arizona. They are made fresh every day. They have a wide variety to choose from. We had them all and there isn't a bad choice. Every News Years Eve we order 25 to take to the celebration, and there is never any left. In my opinion they make the best in the State
My wife and I have visited several Chili's restaurants from Aurora to Sarasota and I still haven't figured out what a Tex-Mex style cuisine is all about. All I know is it is something different from the conventional and traditional and ordinary cuisines that dominate the fast-food industry. Founded in 1975, Chili's has established over 1,600 locations worldwide, about 30 in the Chicago area, and customers seem to enjoy everything from BBQ baby back ribs to chili to enchiladas to quesadillas to fajitas to tacos to Cajun shrimp pasta to Ancho salmon to Texas cheese fries to two of my favorites, the Old-Timer Burger with Cheese, a hand-seasoned beef patty topped with garlic dill pickles, lettuce, tomato, red onions and mustard and the Southern Smokehouse Burger, a beef patty topped with four slices of Applewood smoked bacon, melted cheddar, garlic dill pickles, onion rings, lettuce, tomato and Chili's signature sauce. I also recommend the Atlantic salmon with rice and steamed broccoli, especially if you belong to the more fish/less meat generation. Finally, as we were trying to decide which dessert to have, our waiter heartily endorsed the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Why not? Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It may be more sinful than sorbet but it's worth it.
Neat, clean and very busy for lunch. My bowl with steak was top notch. The wife preferred the chicken dish instead. Always quick service, and half seems to be take out. Give it a try and enjoy!
Colorful, casual go-to for homemade Mexican cusine & handmade tortillas, plus vegan & veggie options.
The food was good. The Tortas were absolutely huge!! My favorite part was the Tamarind Margarita & it was delicious and their salsas were great! They offer $5.99 Margaritas on Tuesdays! The skirt steak was great however I had the Milanesa (fried breaded steak) is was a little on the oily side. But overall a good place to try.Thank you for your review! $5.00 Margarita Tuesdays is getting more and more popular. Hope to see you back soon.La Lupita management

Chef Paco is great and really makes this place a destination. His moles are amazing. Tried the enchiladas with 6 different mole sauces. Spectacular. Be prepared to be charmed into dessert or other items. The entire staff is just great and so is the food.

Our group of 5, of whom 2 eat here frequently, enjoyed dinner. We ordered two servings of trout, plus chicken enchiladas, scallops, and a classic chicken dish. Itâs nice to join friends at a restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a wide variety of delicious, attractive dishes.
