If you're spoiled by the sushi in LA, NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, Coast in Evanston will not disappoint. Especially if you're on the hunt for dishes that aren't always available, like toro and uni. The portions are generous and almost fresh enough to flap on your plate.

Still searching for a good Chinese place to replace our former love, we tried Little Wok after glowing recommendations from the in-laws and friends... both of whom enjoy bland Mexican food..... and that's what we found here. The food was piping hot, portions huge but the food only tasted like hot peppers..... The search for a good egg-roll continues - their version felt very similar to a frozen egg-roll.... no identifiable vegetable or meat - some kind of shredded cabbage. Worse yet the sweet and sour sauce and mustard came in packets.....The Orange Chicken pieces were large, fried ok but other than the red peppers, not much flavor. The Mongolian Beef meat was among the best quality but they cheaped out and instead of Green onion/scallions, went with yellow onions of little flavor. The Kung Pao chicken was ok but the veggies seemed canned, bland and again only peppery. The Cashew chicken was as advertised - nothing special but a decent dish.No Moo Shu options, no Egg Foo Young..... other Thai, Korean and other optons. Jack of many trades Master of none? We'll try other places but if you like traditional bland Chinese this offers and very decent value.

Bento box with sushi grade tuna was outstanding. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Rolls were made just moments before they were delivered to the table. Could eat there daily!! Simple cafe within a market. Casual atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

We sat at the bar and watched some fantastic knife skills. Green tea is constantly refilled. Stick with the sushi fish. It is excellent. The rolls are not as good. The rice was a mushy texture. They were only cut into 6 pieces instead of 8 and I found the pieces too large to manage in one bite which can be embarrassing to eat. I also didn't love the tamago and I found the masago ratio of rice to eggs to be lacking. I would give 5 stars to the tuna and the scallops, but only 3 stars to the rest.
