Arrived here because the Mexican place just south in Vernon Hills said we didn't need a reservation, when we arrived, it was an hour wait. No room at the bar. Walked in to Tacos, seated immediately, served immediatly, good food, good Margaritas at a lower price. I'll be back.
This is our go to place for Mexican food, prices are very reasonable compared to other Mexican food restaurants in area. Don't go here if you're looking for ambience. Carry out as well.

The staff is very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. We have tried a number of menu items over a couple of visits. The food is nicely presented. I love the look and taste of three scoops of Mexican-flag-coloured accompaniments -- guacamole, crema (sour cream),and salsa.A good place for micheladas.

We enjoy coming here as a family. While they don't have the edgy or creative dishes the burritos have always been solid. Chips, salsa and guac really good. Atmosphere is simple and a bit throw back. Cool little place that locals frequent.

We had heard this was really good, innovative, cool, etc. but it ended up to be not so great. We tried 4 types of tacos and a big chicken quesadilla between us, and I would actually prefer Taco Bell. The seating was pretty uncomfortable and parking was hard. Servers were very nice and efficient, but we wanted great tacos and they don't have them here. They seem to have a lot of beers and tequila.

One of our top favorite Mexican restaurants in the entire Chicago Metro area. Located in fashionable and historic downtown Libertyville. Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Small bar, which is good for sports. Best of all is Carmen our favorite waitress. She's been taking care of us for years and always puts a smile on our faces.
