It's not a bad place to eat, but there are definitely better options for Mexican in Edwardsville. It's probably a good place for people who don't really eat Mexican food since the flavors are a bit more "Americanized" here.

I recently moved to Edwardsville and have been trying the different Mexican restaurants to see what our favorite is. This is definitely in the running. Extremely prompt and courteous servers and hosts. The chips were warm and fresh, great salsa, and excellent cheese sauce - it was flavorful without being too spicy. I had grilled chicken nachos, and my husband had steak fajitas. Both were great. I also like that you can pay your bill at the table unlike most Mexican restaurants which is convenient. We will definitely be going back!

My daughter & I stopped for lunch while on a shopping trip. We ordered the half pitcher of margaritas for $7.99 which was enough for 2 glasses each. The chips and salsa were fresh...the salsa wasn't overly spicy. I judge Mexican restaurants by the chile rellenos. I ordered the lunch chile relleno which came with rice & beans. The chile relleno was good. I would definitely order it again. The refried beans were good too. My daughter ordered the taco salad. She said the taco meat was some of the best she had ever had. She finished every bit of the salad. I would come back to this restaurant.

We stopped by this restaurant for an early Saturday dinner. It is in a small strip mall with limited parking. The first thing you notice is the entire restaurant (and restrooms) are very clean. Our friends commented that this is one of the reasons they really like this place. The food is also very good. The chips and salsa hit the spot. We had stuffed peppers, fried tacos and enchiladas. Everyone enjoyed their food. The beers and margaritas were cold. We shared a fried cheesecake dessert, which is the only dessert on the menu. All in all a very good experience.

The restaurant was recommended to us by family members. There is an interesting list of margaritas and the restaurant customized margaritas for two people at our table. The menu was varied. I had street tacos. There were multiple fillings to choose from. I had one with shrimp and one with carnitas. You could choose rice and beans as a side or a salad as a side. Another guest at the table had street tacos with different fillings. We were both pleased. The other guests had carne asada and carnitas nachos. Both of the other guests were very happy with their meals.
