I always love the food here. Ask for handmade tortillas and try the chile rellenos. It's a greasy spoon place but it's so enjoyable... I visit almost every trip. The food is the as good as it was a couple years ago but it's still great.

My friend who lives in La Grange suggested we check this place out since neither of us has been there before. The atmosphere was very family friendly, wouldn't really suggest this place for a romantic date night. I personally think the food was a little expensive for what you receive. I ordered the appetizer quesadilla with steak as my dinner, and it was $9.I can't rave about my food, but the coconut margaritas were AMAZING! I would return just for those... the food is nothing worth going out of your way for. Next time I think I'll test out their tacos.

Taco Taco is a carry out Mexican restaurant. I have been here a number of times. The food is usually good. The last two times I went there the special nachos were incredibly salty. I could not eat them and had to throw them away. So disappointing. I hope it was a fluke because I really liked their food. Another thing to be aware of is, if you ask for anything that does not usually come on the item they charge a lot extra for it. I asked for lettuce on my nachos and it was $1.50 extra.

First time there was today. My wife and I had the Carne Ranchero dinner - delicious juicy flank steak with a flavorful sauce and vegetables. Two of my kids had the taco salads - one vegetarian and the other with steak. Both delicious. Waitress was quick and attentive. We'll be back. I am wishing more authentic dishes on the menu but what they had is certainly adequate.

Every restaurant has a signature meal, and mine is the Chicken Soup. There are many other things on the menu that are good but this soup stands out as the best. Because it takes a while to make, it is a good idea to call ahead and they will have it ready when you arrive.

We have been going to Cafe Salsa for many years now, and our experience tonight was typical of what we have experienced the other times. We had a very nice water, chips and water came our immediately upon sitting down, and our food arrived quickly once ordered. A great place to relax and have a meal!
