It is located along the northern border of Illinois and is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Winthrop Harbor is known for its North Point Marina, and is a warning demarcation point for the National Weather Service's marine warnings for Lake Michigan. With moorage over 1,500 boats, it is the largest marina on the Great Lakes. Nearly one million visitors take advantage of the marina, its associated beaches and other recreational facilities every summer.

Clearly there exist better sushi restaurants in the world. But in Kenosha, Soon's is a pleasure! The sushi is NOT traditional Japanese. Rather the dishes are an eclectic mix of sushi staples with Korean influence (the proprietress is Korean - she's fantastic!). Try the volcano roll, served on fire.This place is HIGHLY recommended.

A good selection of food. Salad, soups, main dishes deserts and ice cream w/ sprinkles and nuts. Also, fresh fruit, jello and sweets. Hot tea is included for lunch. A whooping $6.99 per person. Please start out lightly. You can always go back. American's waste too much food. STOP the waste!!!!!

When I first reviewed this restaurant in 2012, it was a newer business that served only Vietnamese cuisine. I learned that the owners also ran the Panda Chinese restaurant in Kenosha. Since then, they closed the latter and melded it into one restaurant which serves both Vietnamese and traditional Chinese cuisine. I find it to be the best Chinese food in Kenosha (note, I stated Kenosha and not the best Chinese that I have had, as Chicago and the Northern Suburbs have some brilliant establishments). The chicken Pho is my "go to" when I am not feeling well, It is tasty and soothing. Moreover, the portion is such that I am fed for two days. The Chicken with Vegetables entree is my favorite on any occasion. The vegetables are always very fresh and crisp and the chicken is cooked well. It is a tasty dish. I also have favored their wonton soup, however the last time it was extremely salty. In the past it has been very good. I intend to order it again in the near future and hopefully it will be as it once was: perhaps that specific batch was excessively salted by accident. Overall, I find that this is the best place for Chinese food in Kenosha. The service is always prompt, the restaurant itself is quite clean and the food is good.

Every time we go here, it's good. It's very consistent. It's flavorful. It's inexpensive. We live 'in the county' and it's worth a drive. Every person I've ever bought there has liked it. The soup in the lunch specials is huge! I always have leftovers.

Excellent stir fry. Cashew Chicken was not hot or spicy which is what I wanted. The chicken was cut in very thin wide slices; therefore, it was tasty and tender. +very crisp veggies. The beef stir fries were also excellent. Sticky rice was perfect.

While the actual building is nothing to brag about, the food is. They have the best egg rolls around. I have not ever had anything bad here. The portions are very generous and we almost always have leftovers. Any of my family that has moved out of the area always makes this a "must visit" when they are back in the area.I have tried a lot of other Chinese restaurants and always come back here. I have never found anything that we like better!While they do have a small dining area, their main business is carryout!

Great family restaurant, they have a large menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have great omelette and biscuits and gravy. Sunday they have a buffet for breakfast and lunch. They have fantastic fried chicken dinners. Good service and nice environment to enjoy your meals.
