Reviews on Chinese food in Lockport, Illinois, United States. Lockport is a city in Will County, Illinois, United States, located 30 miles southwest of Chicago. The city was incorporated in 1853. It is situated along the Illinois and Michigan (I&M) Canal, and was the headquarters of the canal when the canal was operating. A section of the canal runs through Lockport, including the remains of the canal's Lock No. 1 from which the town received its name. The canal right-of-way is now the Illinois and Michigan National Heritage Corridor. Because of proactive efforts dating back several years, the city of Lockport is one of the best-preserved canal sites in existence today.

If you enjoy authentic chinese food at a good price, this is your place. They do an awesome carry out and delivery service, and the table service is always good here too. The decor throughout could definitely use some help, but probably some of the best Chinese food you will find in Will county! Their complete dinners include the entree with fried rice, soup and egg rolls. Delicious!

This restaurant has been around for a very long time. They have earned a good reputation. It's very clean. The atmosphere is content. The server's have been there for years. The food is phenomenal. The egg rolls and crab ragoons are out of this world. My favorite entree is their Hung Sou Shrimp with extra sauce and dragon rice. Stop there if you're in town, you can't go wrong.

Located inside Water Tower Place, this is designed as a high end mall food court, with an interesting twist in that you get a card which is swiped at each place and then you pay on the way out. I liked the concept, and the wide selection of different classic Chicago food choices. However, we tried food from five different places and it was all very average. It would be a good choice for families with kids because it is fun and there is something for everyone, but it would have been better if the good was more memorable.
Went to dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The menu contained sushi, sashimi, hibachi, as well as other Asian dishes.

Always pleasant service no matter who is taking the order, food is always good, love their chicken noodle soup. If you want to make an adjustment to the spices, always happy to make the change. Have been a regular customer for a while and have never had a bad or wrong order.

I will never get carry out or anything again. Almost tasteless. Sweet & Sour chicken was dark. Not like thigh meat. More like thawed and refrozen multiple times before cooked and served. A neice had carry out fried rice, and found a tooth pick in it. Seemed to be left overs from dine in customers, salvaged for re-serving.
