We stopped at this Panera Bread as we were heading to the AMC Randhurst 12 theatre to see a movie. Rather than filling up on popcorn, we thought that we would try something a bit more healthy. We chose two breakfast souffles - one a four cheese and one a ham & Swiss. They both tasted good and they were just the right amount of food. The staff was efficient.

First let me clarify something. I know what it says above, right next to "#8 of 69 restaurants in Wheeling." It says "American, Deli, Kosher." It is for sure American and Deli. It is not kosher. You would have figured that out as soon as you read the menu: "bone ham $2.79". or "grilled salami & Swiss $10.25". And so on. But I wanted you to know right in front, so that you don't make the trip for nothing. Kosher style, yes. Kosher, no.ok, moving right along....Bagel Tuesday -- a dozen bagels for $6.25. Call first and have them set aside your favourite flavours -- they sell out quickly at these prices. They carry salt, jalapeno, all-season, flax seed, french onion, garlic, whole wheat, cinnamon raisin, parmesan, cheddar, plain, poppy seed, onion, egg, pumpernickel rye and sesame seed. These are substantial, chewy bagels....not those sissy bagels.Ten tables inside and ten tables outside under bright Vienna Beef umbrellas.Full adult menu -- breakfast, deli sandwiches, salads, soups, ect. -- and a seven-item kids' menu.Parking lot

Three of us met for breakfast at Jelly Cafe. There is plenty of parking, as it is in a large strip mall at the northwest corner of Busse Rd. & Golf Rd. We were seated immediately and our server was right there. She proved to be very efficient and personable. I tried something different - oatmeal, and it was very hot and tasty. The price was reasonable.

My family and I went here for breakfast. It has a nice quiet atmosphere. I liked the menu options. Each of our meals could have be shared. It was about $10 per plate. I had the veggie skillet. It was very good. It would have been better without the potatoes in it. The potatoes were a bit over cooked. I took the pancakes home for lunch. The pancakes were exactly how I like them. My kids enjoyed their waffles and eggs. My husband liked his omelette but thought it was a bit much seeing that he couldn’t eat the bread or all his potatoes. This restaurant reminds me of Egg Harbor but better. The restaurant is friendlier and they are not in a rush. I’m sure we’ll be back to try their lunch.

The Egg Harbor in Arlington Heights expanded several years ago so those of you who found it too cramped or too small should give it another try. Unfortunately, they have also changed their menu and taken off some old favorites. While I know that it's good to keep innovating and some of their new items are quite good, I still miss some of their old signature dishes! Coffee is decent, and their fresh orange and orange-strawberry juice is delicious. I appreciate the fact that they actually prepare the eggs as you like them - as someone who has a visceral reaction (not in a good way) to under-done eggs, this is important!
