Went for a late breakfast in a Sunday. Very cute street in Benton Park area of St Louis. Easy to get to from any direction in STL. We were seated right away inside. There is outdoor seating too but all the tables were full. The two of us ordered coffee, french toast (w a side of egg whites for balance), and the BP Slinger. The French toast is perfect! Instead of traditional "Texas toast" french toast, BPC uses a whole grain bread. Flavored just right too. You dont need syrup. Or much of it. Its served with a side of maple walnut cream cheese. I tried it but it's not necessary. I asked for a sugar free syrup, but they didn't have it. The BP Slinger is two huge beer biscuits with cheese scrambled eggs and sausage gravy on top. Flavor is fabulous! You get a side of potatoes which is a hash of some sort. Also great. I dont know what kind of coffee they use, but it's great too...probably one of the best coffees I've ever had.

Kaldi's Coffee at Citygarden offers a unique menu featuring local produce from area farms and signature cocktails. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday.
After touring Gateway Arch, my family decided to grab a small lunch here due to its proximity to the arch. Eleven of us each ordered something different, but everyone enjoyed what they ate and drank! I decided on the peanut butter and chocolate smoothie, which was made with almond milk and soy-based peanut butter powder. It was delicious!I was very impressed overall by the allergen-friendly options on the menu. They had several varieties of nut milk and soy products, and guests could easily exchange ingredients in their coffees and smoothies to accommodate allergies. The menu itself is very large, so there's something for everyone. They also have a "happy hour" during lunch time where all pastries are 50% off!

My friends that come to St. Louis have been recommending this for years. Finally has opportunity after baseball trip. First of all the neighborhood is really historic. Nice area. Place has amazing garden. Just very laid back atmosphere. Staff is fantastic. If you want a quick meal this is not place. It is more of a place to sit back, drink an epic Bloody Mary and talk. I will make this a must stop on all future trips. Food. Amazing. Reasonable priced. Want to do dinner next time. Pancakes best ever.

this experience was a miss, though it's too bad because the food was delicious - we ordered the american breakfast and the grits&greens, and both received rave reviews. unfortunately, though, their service and concept are a disaster. for starters, the staff is not friendly. no one greets you as you enter, they ignored us as we tried to figure out what to do, only to see a painted wall that requests you stand in line, THEN find a table, and actually bus it yourself. what?? the cashier didn't greet us. but of course, the restau is part of the new wave flipping the order screen around so you tip them as you pay - even though they don't actually service you! ("bus yourself please!")the place was packed - because the food is so good - and there were no available seats AFTER we got food. i asked a fellow patron if we could squeeze into the shared bench, and she said she was saving it for her group of five who hadn't shown up yet. i asked if she had ordered already and she said no. i responded that we needed a place to sit because our food was coming, which of course was awkward. she swore at me (!!) and stormed away. no service staff to handle this - leave it to the patrons to duke out. another girl was taking up a whole table with her laptop on a SUNDAY, writing a college essay, talking on the phone. no staff said anything to her. but the line was OUT THE DOOR the entire time we were there! where were the staff? ignoring the patrons. as requested, we bused our own table before we left. just like at panera! at least their staff usually welcome you as you enter and order.

I think this is the Panera chain. And we have found them to be very consistent. Always fresh ingredients, tasty and nice quick service. Great for a lunch or brunch. We go for the chicken sandwiches and this time a cup of Chili (hot and full of beans and meat).

Farm to table breakfast spot with biscuits and crepes. Very well done and great service. Menu seems to be heavy in goat cheese, which obvioiusly isn't for everyone. big portions, but didn't like the breakfast potatos. Needed more browning and didn't like bitter skins left on the potatoes. Fairly pricey for breakfast. Full liquor served.
