I was promptly seated for dinner on a Friday after 5:00. The server was friendly and attentive. He refreshed my beverages (Sprite and water) as soon as I finished.I ordered a three maki roll special for $18.00. They were six pieces each. You could order any roll on the menu. Before my dinner was served, I was given a salad and soup. I was still hungry when I finished my meal, so I ordered a Godzilla roll. Rolls not part of the special are eight pieces.I enjoy maki and sushi. I have eaten these meals around the United States. Though it was okay, it does not compare in taste to meals Iâve had elsewhere. The maki was okay, but the service was excellent and the price was great. If I hunger for maki or sushi the next time Iâm in Peoria, I will give Shogun another try.

Located at Junction City Shopping Center.
A waiter at this restaurant did not make eye contact when taking orders or serving food. The behavior demonstrated by this waiter made us feel very unwelcome at this restaurant. The food was okay (have had better Asian cuisine before). We will not go back to this restaurant again.

I've been wanting to try this place and finally tonight I did. I had the egg rolls and combination fried rice with chicken, pork and shrimp. The food is on a whole 'nother level of delicious! The egg rolls had the perfect texture and crunch. The fried rice was well-flavored with a good helping of meats. Service was fast, very friendly and efficient. The two servers I met were all smiles and very attentive. Even just walking in the door I got a wonderful aroma; something that made me sure the food was good. I've never been to a Vietnamese restaurant before but I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Nice place that I have dined in before. Slow to fill our hibachi grill table, so salads and soups were long gone by the time the cook arrived. Decent grill food but nothing special. Had sashimi that was marginally of sushi grade. Hamachi had a tendon running through it and the tuna was very close to being non sushi grade. Be wary of their fish. Good service though.

Of you're looking for quality fresh sushi, look elsewhere. We ordered California, spicy tuna and crab rolls. We started with miso soup which was fine while the rolls were not so good.We never leave a sushi place with rolls remaining on our plate, this place we did. None of the rooms tasted really fresh. Even the Ginger tasted not great. Ambiance was fine. Although I rather hear Japanese or traditional Asian music than the dated hippo for Xmas song. But that's just be.Service was fine. Can't recommend. Won't be back.

Nice homey restaurant. It felt like we were in south east Asia. Friendly staff. We ordered 2 shrimp dumplings, which my wife had been craving for all day and the waiter brought us shrimp rolls. My wife was too shy to have it returned. They were fine. Bland. No beer here. Bathroom clean.
