Now I know oysters taste like whatever they are dipped in. I don't know what the fuss is about. (12 for $15 with a nice presentation). My meal was very good. Lake Superior whitefish, grilled with garlic glaze. $22 for enough to bring home half. It came with crusty zucchini sticks which were delicious, though I should not have eaten the breading. Couldn't help myself. The servers were very attentive and accurate. The place was sparcely populated on a Thursday evening, so it was quite enough to convere. My husband was not as impressed with his swordfish ($29), saying "fish in Florida" is better. He didn't leave a bite, however, and loved the smashed potatoes.

My sister picked here to celebrate her 70th birthday with family as she has enjoyed it in the past. We had reservations and as we were seated they informed us that they were having air conditioning problems. That should have been a tip to leave as it was all downhill from there. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and appetizers. The appetizers arrived but no wine? We flagged down our waiter and asked about the wine and he said they were still looking for the wine and we said just bring us any Sauvignon Blanc. He then brought a bottle and slammed it on the table and walked away without opening it or serving it to us plus without an ice chiller to keep it cold. We made the hostess aware of this and we only got a very sarcastic response. Next up was the entrees and three of the five arrived and but without the sides which arrived 10 minutes later. Two if us meanwhile were still waiting for our entrees which arrived 15 minutes after the others received them. By this time we asked for the manager and all we got were lame excuses and no I am sorry about this. To top it off they were asked to do something special for the woman turning 70....they failed again! We waited 15 minutes to try and get our bill and our server was no where to be found. We finally all got up to leave and I went to the hostess and demanded our bill and the manager again. We paid the bill and informed them how they had ruined what was to be a special evening and that they would never see us again. Please at your earliest convenience can you send me an email at [email protected] feel absolutely horrible that you were treated like this and I sincerely apologize.

Well we have eaten here before and had wonderful service. I had gotten free Bang Bang shrimp for my birthday. Our waitress took our order of which we were both ordering food besides this. Someone delivered the Bang Bang Shrimp and said, "Who is having this as their meal?" Neither of us were and she put it down on the table. We didn't get plates or napkins. I had to go to another table to get them. We noticed that the other tables were all getting bread with their Bang Bang Shrimp or meals. We didn't get any or were offered any. We sat a long time waiting for everything. We did notice a wonderful waiter who was taking the time to explain the menu and just giving fantastic service, suggestions and bread. We waited a very long time for the bill. We would have had a totally different experience with the right server. I did send a message to them, but I did not hear back. I have two gift cards to use there. She never offered us drinks and when she gave us the bill, I asked her if they still had the delicious Sangaria of which she said yes. I hope for a better experience next time.

This business got 2 stars because their food is good. What keeps me from giving 4 stars is the WAY they do business. You can't have good food and crappy/ unfair services and get 4 stars...Management here is not compassionate nor professional with the way they speak to their customers if they have complaints. Let's just say if you go to this restaurant in a party of more than 6, it's difficult for them to seat you together. Okay, whatever. So on today's visit I said that's fine we'll sit separately. Myself and my 2 girls sat in a booth of our own and my sisters and mom sat in a booth of their own. The booths are high-backed so it was near impossible to even talk to them. So my girls and I basically had dinner together. I told the waitress that I have nothing to do with my sisters/ mom bill because it was just me and my girls. When we finally got our bill there was a 15% gratuity added to each our bills anyway. When my sisters and mom asked why, because we basically had dinner separately, the manager answered it was "because we WALKED IN together." Huh??? Because we walked in together? The manager here said that because our booths were next to each other it also counts. She said that if we were separate, one group could have set in one area and the other "group " (me and my 2 girls, so group of 3 ) in another room....Mind you they asked if we wanted to sit in the booths or the bar. We DONT DRINK. ITS AGAINST OUR RELIGION. WE JUST CAME FROM CHURCH ON EASTER SUNDAY. WHY IN GODS NAME WOULD WE CHOOSE TO SIT AT A BAR???? The manager talked to my sisters and mom VERY nastily. I'm an ER Nurse, my sister is a manager at an optical clinic, my other sister is a detention center officer for the city of Chicago. My 3rd sister is a sign language interpreter / teacher for the deaf at a middle school, and my 4th sister also is in customer service. We were there for her birthday and mourning the untimely death of my dad and this manager talked VERY nastily to my mom as well. Unfortunately, when that happened 2 of my sisters "returned the disrespect " back to her. It should never had gone that far. So here's a tip: If you're a party of over 6, have your groups come in separately, maybe 4 or 5 minutes apart so that they don't penalize you for walking in all at the same time.Hello, I am so sorry to see that you had a bad experience with our service. Our staff is trained to be as professional and polite. I greatly apologize that this isn't the experience you had on your visit. Customer service that is our priority and we would like you to reach out to us at [email protected] with all of your concerns if you don't mind! We hope to hear from you and that you will give us another chance. Thank you.
