Having moved away from the Chicago area, I’m rarely able to enjoy this great place. Worried it had rested on reputation over the years I hesitated in visiting.Quickly greeted and told the bar was open seating. The restaurant had a short wait. The bartender Jose D greeted me and advised on what I wanted. Great knowledge of the food and didn’t steer me wrong. The food arrived quickly and was fantastic. I had clam chowder, and two types of crab. Yes I ate a ton! As I ate the bartender made small talk and made the entire experience better. I will return and am thankful they are still great!

Wildfish is always exciting, inviting and over flowing with endless choices and flavors. This visit we chose combination tempura, sashimi sampler and avocado, tomato and sashimi special platter. All well presented and tastefully enjoyed. Always a treat no matter the time of day and always an adventure to be revisited many times over.

First, the food is more interesting than typical Mexican dining, probably because of the fusion component. The menu isn't huge, and it doesn't need to be. The tequila list isn't pages long, but has plenty to choose from. But the food is absolutely outstanding. We had teriyaki chicken in lettuce wrap tacos and the salmon, both resulting in clean plates. The lava cake for desert, which comes with ice cream was similarly devoured. The quac to start comes with an interesting array of shaved radishes for dipping. Finally, our waiter Gary was an absolute dream, attentive and funny and helpful. I don't know how i have missed going to this place; it is fabulous.

Original Bagel & Bialy

Homemade bagels baked fresh EVERY morning - lox flown in from NY - generous portions of great food in a good old fashioned NY deli setting. The meats are cooked in house and you can taste the quality!

We stopped at the Original Bagel & Bialy restaurant which is located at The Grove Shopping Center which is the northeast corner of McHenry Rd. & Lake Cook Rd. There is plenty of parking in the lot with very easy access. When we walked in, the Original Bagel & Bialy was really busy. Rather than wait, this time we picked up a half dozen of different bagels with some cream cheese and we were off. The bagels were quite good and very fresh. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and efficient.Hello Allen, Thank you for stopping by and updating a favorable review of the Original Bagel & Bialy restaurant. We are glad that you found the place to be accessible and the bagels with the cream cheese to be fresh and good. Also, we are delighted to see that you liked the staff and found them to be friendly and efficient. We invite you to join us again for an invigorating treat with us. Hope to see you soon!
