I pretty much stick to a few dishes that I've enjoyed having wherever I go...vegetable fried rice, crab rangoon, panang curry, red curry, to name a few. The food is ready in a very timely manner, usually no more than 15 min, and the ingredients are fresh. I've always enjoyed the food there, and you get enough for like 3 to 4 servings, depending on how much you typically eat

This is a fine restaurant. Unfortunately, it is across the street from Wu's House which is much bigger and will most likely hurt this business. Sesame Inn has very excellent dishes and it has been frequented by myself, friends and family. I highly recommend it.

Several people had recommended Lucky Bamboo so I decided to give it a try and I wanted to pick up food and take it home on my way home from work. Got there about 3:30pm and there was a hand written sign on the door that said they would reopen at 4:30pm. So I went home and came back to get dinner. Arrived at 4:55pm and placed my order for carry out. At 6:05pm, my order was ready! OMG, an hour for carrying out Chinese food. People who had phoned their orders in still had to wait 20 minutes. It was ridiculous. While I was waiting for an hour, I thought to myself that this better be the best Chinese food Iâve ever had for waiting an hour for it.Now for the food...I love that they donât use MSG in their cooking. Thatâs great. Since I had never been before, I decided to order several of the lunch specials (you pay a little more to have them for dinner) and try different things. Did not like the egg rolls as they had a very funny taste to them. Overall, the Mongolian beef was the best. The Kung Pao was second best but the chicken was over cooked...the heat though was perfect. The sesame chicken was OK...Iâve had better and Iâve had worse. The pork lo mein was good. They do not have carry out menus. You either call ahead and order what you like or you walk in and order if you donât know the menu or havenât been there before. Not sure Iâll go back...yes the food was good and I love that they donât use MSG, but the wait and lack of empathy for people waiting so long, I just donât know. They werenât even answering the phone because they were so busy.

Good Chinese food, big portions of chicken & beef on the Combo Chop Suey order.Small area for limited seating. Delivery available. We get the delivery. we have never eaten inside this restaurant.Prices are a little less than Chi-Tung (also in Evergreen Park).
This is by far the best Chinese takeout I've had in Chicago. Their Egg Fu Tung is consistently perfect, never overcooked. There egg rolls are great as is their crab rangoon. Wendy and Wayne are a good team with excellent intuition about their customers.
