Fine eating establishments know the essence of the restaurant business. It isn't merely enough to provide good food. The truly memorable dining experience depends upon several other ingredients from the top food selections, to the most dedicated people s
Very disappointed that I have to write this review. Jamesonâs in Mt Prospect has been a favorite of ours for over 20 years. So much so that we used to eat here at least once a week. When the former manager, Peter, was there the service, food and Atmosphere was great. We had been away for awhile but over the past year weâve gone back in the hope it was still as good. We have been sorely disappointed every time. This time was the last. We had reservations and we were seated in the back party room. We were the only ones back there and the room didnât even have the heat turned on. It took at least 15 minutes to see a waitress and we waited just as long to get our cocktails. So long that we were on the verge of walking out. After we ordered, another couple was seated in the room and they had the same experience. Our waitress totally ignored them and they walked out to the dining room to find someone to take their order. The lettuce was n the salad was brown and wilted, I had to cut off about an inch of the baked potato because it appeared rotten and the filet I ordered had a huge piece of grizzle in it. The manager came to the door of the room we were in, and even though both we and the other table waved at him to come over, he simply turned around and walked away. Thatâs what we are doing also. Walking away. Sorry to say it is just not the great place it used to be. Management makes a difference. Our management and waitstaff would like the opportunity to turn your disappointment into a positive experience by providing the best food, service and seating for your best birthday dinner ever! Please contact the restaurant at your earliest convenience to make arrangements, thank you!

We decided to have dinner at the Kampai Japanese Steak House, but sat in the floating sushi bar which is also known as The YuYa. We were seated immediately. There was a steady stream of delicious looking sushi coming around on the boats. We ordered two hot shrimp dishes to start and then chose two additional sushi plates from the boats. The plates for the sushi are color-coded and the prices are shown in front of each seat. We had more than enough food for both of us at a very reasonable price. The staff is always friendly, efficient and attentive. There is plenty of parking.

We stopped by for a fast dinner and were seated promptly by friendly hostess. Typical bill of fare menu, but the most confusing menu I have seen in a long time. Each entree comes with different sides/salads/veggies/etc. It is not one steak and sides, but different levels of what sides you might get, and some you get nothing. Very confusing to figure out what comes with what. The steaks and chicken were favorable, but not much else comes with the entree.

Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
This restaurant is very loud and crowded so try to sit in the very back if you can. Our large party was seated back there and it was tolerable re: noise. We did have to weave our way to the extensive salad bar. It's really not a salad bar and I'll tell you why. At this restaurant, you go to this bar and get side dishes and salad. Then you sit back down and servers will bring all sorts of meats on skewers and cut off a fresh slice right there at your seat. They do regular meat and meat cooked with no salt (which I didn't know was a thing). I had filet medium rare and it was great. The mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, and fried bananas (in sugar and cinnamon) were delicious. There was beef, chicken, lamb, pork and probably more I missed. You an eat as long as you wish. We were a table of 13 and everyone was well cared for and left with satisfied appetites.
