Clearly we, our group, is on the wrong end of thoughts about this place, but thought it was worth putting out our thoughts. Our visit was for mom's birthday and our anniversary. The last few years we've been trying to do something special as a group and so this year we chose Meson Sabika because of our friends and family who all said we had to do it.Most of what we chose was good, but we didn't feel anything was great. In fact, some of the dishes we would have like MORE flavoring, including the salads.Everything was fresh, we just felt lacked flavor. The one dish that keep talking about is the PAELLAS, but beyond that... the rest just didn't wow us. Now, it could be how much others have hyped it up including here and other places, but it just didn't win us over.Did we miss something?

I had the chicken tacos and my friends had an enchillada.. Typical mexican food, but very tasty. Sometimes at a place like this the food is bland but not here. Everything was wonderfully seasoned and the chips and salsa were good too. I will absolutely eat here again.... oh.. and the prices are fantastic!

Outstanding restaurant to sample a large number of delicious Tapas. The Spanish grilled octopus was delicious, as was the sauteed squid. The garlic shrimp was very good, the mussels were excellent. We were gifted a humus dish that was excellent. If it's possible, the taste and quality of the food was surpassed only by the friendliness and accommodation by the wait persons. OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT.

I think the place is relatively new. We were greeted warmly and given great advice on the menu as we're not familiar with Peruvian food. We ordered adobo de cerdo, chicharron, and papa rellena and split everything 3 ways so we could sample a little of everything. The adobo offered a more bold flavor while the chichurron was surprisingly delicious as who would have thunk sliced sweet potato and pork butt makes an awesome sandwich combo? The sandwiches came with a generous side of fries so you shouldn't leave hungry. The papa rellena came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. It arrived shaped like a large egg. It's fried stuffed potato but don't let "fried" turn you off. It wasn't a bit greasy or oily, but a perfectly crisp exterior, fluffy mashed potato interior and a ground beef center. So yummy! Try the hot sauce if you dare! The place is simply furnished but the giant photos of the sandwiches makes for mouth-watering art decor. Brilliant marketing. The warm welcome and dee-li-ci-ous sandwiches made it feel homey and comfortable. Wonderful lunch place! If I lived in Naperville, i would become a regular :)
