Casual atmosphere, reasonable prices, good food, and FAMOUS for our margaritas!! Kitchen closes early, but the bar stays open until 2am as needed Mon-Sat!

Midland is one of my husband and my favorites. I love ordering lunch and a beer on the weekend. They have frequent specials, and menu items from nachos and quesadillas, to burgers and fries, to pizza. I enjoy a grilled cheese or some fried mushrooms.There's a large seating area inside, as well as a covered outdoor area. It can get busy though (it has a large local following... people love it!) The employees are friendly and helpful, but around lunch and dinner they can get very busy, so you may have short wait if you need another drink or something. But that's understandable. Occasionally you may have to wait to be seated, but you can order a drink at the bar while you wait. All in all, it's a local favorite with a lot of options and charm.

The man that does nothing but stand by the door and greet customers is very vulgar and rude! Literally interrupted me and would not let me speak, I was telling him that the chili rellenos we couldn't eat, it was in a bowl of cheese soup basically, soggy and terrible and couldn't get our waiter to come so we could let him know! He never even checked on us! He and his broken English yelled out several times, "you pay full, too bad" I've never been treated so poorly by a business, and Fajitas were amazing however, that's the only reason this is only getting 2 stars!

The smaller of the 2 Mexican places in Murphysboro, this is a family owned and operated place. There is a nice outdoor patio for dining, as well as the dining room. The food is well-prepared and they will create special orders if given in advance. The folks here are very nice.

Taco Bell and KFC in Murphysboro are the same building. They are a chain fast food restaurant, so you should know what to expect. I very seldom eat in, and i usually order through drive through for lunch. There has been a couple of times my order was not correct or I received something I didn't order. I have come to expect it from fast food restaurants. The food is always fresh, and the service is good.
