Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
We stopped in around 5pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was crowded but there was not a line and it didn't take long to get our food. The food was delicious. We had the chopped salad, and an Italian Beef sandwich.

The best patty melt, nachos, sandwiches there are. We frequent Subport at least twice a month. Good size portions and great service.

I like to read in the mornings and i find that going to white castle in alsip illinois provides me with a clean and friendly place to sit eat my breakfast and read. The resturant is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Their breakfast menu is very good. The breafast sandwiches are made with real eggs made fresh not processed imitation and they are available with three different meats and can be had on buns toast or waffles. The staff is always friendly and polite and i appreciate the clean resturant and washrooms. I have been going there for over 3 yrs and havent had a single problem or complaint.
Usually--for me--the least appealing item on any restaurant menu is a burger. Specialty salads, fish, veal and chicken dishes always seem more enticing. Perhaps that's because too many burgers start out as long-frozen patties, meat containing fillers,or are grilled until they're dry and leathery. Fortunately, Manzo's Burger (111th and Western in Chicago's Morgan Park neighborhood) is not guilty of any of those ":sins." Their website explains that the "all natural" burgers and the fries are hand-pressed and cut fresh daily. Also, they use brioche style buns from a local baker. Impressive! Also to be noted is the hospitality of owner Humberto Manzo Sr, his wife Claudia and their 3 sons. Manzo's menu lists 15 tempting choices of burgers--plus several salads, wraps, and sandwiches, with the promise of additional items to be added. My husband's current favorite, the Sunny Burger, is topped with cheddar, smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and a sunny-side-up egg. Though I sometimes take nibbles of his burgers, I'm really a fan of the moist Turkey Burger (subbing cheddar for the pepperjack cheese while keeping the other toppings--organic mixed greens, avocado and citrus chipotle aioli). Our daughter and son-in-law introduced us to Manzo's and our grandchildren recommended the grilled cheese and the mac'n'cheese from the Kid's Menu. I'm glad they did. It made me consider ordering burgers again--at least from Manzo's menu!
