Great place to stop for a quick but delicious breakfast. Stopped here to eat before we headed out on a 3 hour drive to go home after returning from a long vacation. The reviews that we read did not disappoint. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious and portions were generous I grew up in Park Ridge but moved away before trying out Macs. Anytime I am back in the area, I will head here to eat!

I was picking up my brother-in-law and his wife from O'Hare and had to find a place to have lunch. Since I didn't want a fast food place, I focused on locally owned place. I found Al & Andy's. It was a short drive from O'Hare. Their menu (all meals) is extensive.It is a traditional diner owned by locals. The décor is basic. The food and service was very good. They had each selected a small Grecian Salad. It was larger then expected. It was full of feta cheese and other traditional ingredients. Soup was part of the meal. They both enjoyed the salad and soup.. I had a Asiago Wrap. It came with soup or salad and fries ( large amount). All was tasty. I will go back!

For a chain restaurant, I find that Denny's seems generally consistent both in service and in food quality. Today's visit for breakfast was exactly that. Our server was friendly, attentive & personable. We ordered a 55+ starter and a side of grits and it seemed like we had the perfect amount of food, so there were no leftovers, especially since we were not on our way home. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant, including restrooms, is clean and well-kept.
