This was our first trip here but we will return for sure. Everyone had told us about the great pizzas and beer but WOW. They were really De-Lish! What a great little pub. Do not miss the opportunity to visit here.

Spanky's is where locals go for burgers, and with good reason. High-quality beef, properly seasoned and prepared, best fries in town. (The Italian beef is huge and very good.) Drinks are strong enough so that you know you've had one. Staff is unfailingly friendly, whether you're a regular or it's your first stop. This is not "pub food" - it's "bar food" - and priced accordingly.

We went for dinner on a Friday night and had a great time. We even brought our 80 year grandma. The fried cod, cheese curds, French fries and pulled pork were great. I would say the food is a step above bar food. The prices for the food and drinks was great. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Great addition to the area. The only recommendations I have is better bun for the sandwiches, more comfortable chairs and improve the house wine (even Sutter Home would be an improvement)! Other than that a great bar to go to for the whole family.
