As others said, some portions are smaller than expected and more tapas-sized than regular portions. And yes the food is in general not the cheapest, however, I really enjoyed the place and food. Excellent food in short. A place, where I could easily indulge in cheese and wine as advertised (if my wallet can handle it). Service was also good.

First time at this restaurant, but we are going back soon. The hummus was amazing - some of the best Iâve ever had. The Brussels sprouts were fantastic. My wife got the grilled chicken and I got the lamb/beef dish. Everything was excellent, including the service AND price. Very reasonable.

Äma is a Mediterranean restaurant showcasing Chef CJ Jacobsonâs lighter California style of cooking. At the core of the menu are spreads, dips and mezze, Mediterranean small plates. Signature dishes include Spicy Hummus, House-Made Stracciatella with Vine
Ema is a small plates Mediterranean restaurant. I chose lamb ragu and hummus and fried halloumi cheese. The ragu with hummus was an interesting combination, and I have always enjoyed halloumi cheese. This version was very spicy. I added a refreshing mojito with vanilla and frozen greek yogurt with sea salt; two more combinations I'd never had before. Two small plates, a cocktail and a cup of frogurt totaled $67, however, which seemed like a lot, especially as the restaurant and food presentation was not that fancy.
