Famous Dave's is probably the best Barbeque Chain Restaurant going. The Baby back ribs are superb and and the barbeque chicken far surpasses the ever available super market spit roasted bird. But, Famous Dave's Beef Brisket reigns supreme. If you order the Family Feast (4-6) or Half Feast (2-3) you get all three meats plus chunk cut roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, cole slaw and pork and beans.The North Riverside location provides excellent Take Out that is ready to go when pre ordered on line or by phone. But, the same location is not conducive to a relaxed Eat In meal in its dinning room. The problem is the building was converted from a former coffee shop style restaurant and the foot print is not made for a barbeque restaurant. But, there's good news. Famous Dave's is building a new restaurant to their own specs adjacent to the exiting restaurant. That should make Dining In a much better experience.

Have eaten here several times and all in all very good....Nice wait staff..,efficient .I have gotten Light Fare Salmon dinner on bed of cooked spinach with new potatoes and a salad on the side...saved room for Warm Apple Walnut Cobbler to die for.definitely a sports bar with a zillion giant TV side by side but doesn't interfere with these old ladies conversation.

This is GREAT Q! Very high quality BBQ in Berwyn. Portions are sizable, the brisket needs no sauce - it's that good. Pulled pork every bit as good, but try it with the "Swine wine!" Smoked chicken is perfectly done - just enough smoke to make it terrific. Go soon!!!
