Went for lunch today after going to Geneva for some shopping. I like this location, it is roomy with a nice bar and there is always seating available. They have $1 burgers this month so we like to enjoy the ample burgers. You must order a drink which is not an issue and their process are reasonable. Always a drink special. The service is very good and the food is well done. We go back again and again. Plenty of TVs for watching sports and they now have gaming. We did not partake in the gaming this visit. Overall a great experience. We have not been disappointed in the many times we have gone.

I don't drink. Neither does my wife. But our friends do. Based on their recommendation--"Trust us, the food is great," they said--we decided to spend a late evening at Pub 222 in St. Charles, Illinois, one of Chicago's far western suburbs. Established in 1995, Pub 222 is a traditional Irish tavern with an old-school dark wood interior and courtyard serving pub fare, beer and cocktails. Lots of daily drink specials. Lots of tempting appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and salads, even some entrees. Even a terrific skillet breakfast and prime rib with eggs, if you're in a breakfast mood. Our group decided to sample something of everything...home-made chili, Classic Caesar salad with grilled chicken, a 12-inch Tavern pizza, crispy thin crust with cheese and sausage, and a 222 Pick a Basket with mozzarella sticks, chicken strips and pretzel bites, battered haddock golden fried with waffle fries and cole slaw, Patty Melt with 1/2-pound beef patty atop toasted rye with grilled onions and American cheese, 222 Burger with 1/2-pound Angus patty with American cheese, lettuce, onion and tomato on a gourmet fresh bun served with fries, corned beef and Swiss melt sandwich and an Italian beef sandwich. Root beer, anyone? We had such a good time reminiscing about old times that nobody remembered who won the game.

I simply don't get to draw... perhaps it's the never ending money off coupons that fill up the mailbox every weekend or perhaps it's the lower drink prices ...it's certainly not the food ...it's certainly not the atmosphere and it is certainly not because of the service.

We have had great experiences at Riverside dining as a couple or with friends or with grandchildren. The service is good and the pizza is great. I reccomend going early because they are often crowded.

We stopped in for dinner before seeing a show down the street. The atmosphere was great. We were seated promptly, and our server was wonderful. My wife ordered the giant corned beef sandwich, I had the chicken pot pie. Neither of us could finish our meal, as the portions were huge. We were given boxes, paid our bill, and took home the leftovers. On our way home, we talked about how we enjoyed our dinner. The next day was time for leftovers, and the disappointment set in...I reheated my pot pie, took my first bite, and bit into the breast bone! Spit it out, chalked it up to a kitchen oversight, and took my next bite. After I pulled a 6-8" piece of black hair from my mouth, I spit out the rest, and dumped the leftovers. After I told my wife about the leftover experience, she admitted to me the corned beef tasted very salty and dry to her. I tried it, and must agree.Too bad...I really thought we liked this place. Not sure about giving it another try!

Like Ireland...only closer...a delightful dark wood pub with Irish mementos on the walls and a Guinness barrel bar...food is tasty and generous...popular with the locals! My husband ordered The Full Monty Irish breakfast which comes with toast, beans, 2 Irish rashers, 2 Irish sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and two eggs. I had the Killarney Burger which was topped with bacon, Irish cheddar and Guinness coated onion rings. We were both happy with our entrees!

Had an early dinner here before going to a show at the Arcada. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable as he helped steer us through the food and beer menu.The food was good and served in a timely fashion.

Stopped at this popular location for a late lunch with friends. We were happy with the food, service and value. Seemed like a place where it's easy to find a menu item that you will like. The chicken salad on a croissant tasted homemade. The soup and salad combo was, as well. We will return.

Been coming here for years. They offer lighter fare along with amazing salads and fantastic sandwiches. No real entrees but definitely enough food to fill you up. The salads are my favorite. Along with a huge and extremely fairly priced Whiskey menu and rotating local draft selection theres something to drink for everyone. They craft seasonal cocktails using very unique flavors and ingredients. Definitely stop by and ask them what's new.Cheers!!!
